Chapter 16 (Chapter 1 part 10 in novel)

And just like that, the three days of hell began.

"Only you would consider playing with kids as 3 days of hell Akutagawa." Chuuya said laughing. 

"Kids are not hell Akutagawa, you could've at least tried to enjoy yourself while you were doing that task." Oda said.

"Shut up Oda, I was already mad at you for pushing that task on me. Don't pour oil into the fire." Beast Akutagawa said while glaring at Oda, who raised his hand in the air, indicating surrender.

The first day.Akutagawa was given the task of creating playground equipment:

"What is this, military training?" Tachihara said laughing at the expense of Beast Akutagawa. 

monkey bars, zip lines, swings, slides, trampolines, and even some thingshe had never seen before. He transformed his overcoat into countlessplaythings—things the children could only dream of. Naturally, the kidswere beside themselves with joy as they clung to, swung from, and jumpedon Akutagawa's overcoat-turned-playground equipment. 

"Whoaaaaaa! Awesooome!" one of the kids shouted with glee as hedangled from the ceiling with fabric tied around his waist. 

"Do it again! Do it again! Do it again!" A

nother child had been launchedhigh into the air by Akutagawa's overcoat and was now shaking him formore after landing. 

"Ha-ha-ha! I'm going so fast!" 

Several children shrieked with delight,latching onto the overcoat as it swiftly soared through the air and over theground like a dragon.It began at nine in the morning and continued until three in theafternoon, only breaking for lunch. After that, the young children took ashort nap before resuming playtime until dinner. There were over a dozenhyperactive kids and only one Akutagawa.

"Guess even the mad dog had to lose when it came to taking care of a group of hyperactive kids." Kunikida said writing it down in his book of ideals, earning him looks of confusion from the pm members. 

"I feel really bad of my orphanage director now. Imagine having to deal with hundreds of kids including me who was a trouble making tiger." Atsushi said.

"I agree with you. Though his actions cannot be justified, he at least deserves some sympathy." Beast Atsushi said having a ghost of a  smile on his face that sent thousands of butterflies fluttering in Akutagawa's stomach. 

Akutagawa lay on the ground like a corpse while everyone else waseating dinner. 

"Just...kill me..."

The entire reaction room was filled with laughter. Tachihara and Nikolai being the loudest. Gasping while rolling on the floor. 

Akutagawa's breathing came out in short gasps like a comatose patienton the verge of death. He had become one with the floor, now powerlessagainst the pull of gravity. 

"I really appreciate the hard work, kiddo. How 'bout some dinner?"asked the owner. 

"No." Akutagawa looked as if his soul had left his body. "If I try to eatnow...all the food will just get stuck in my throat...and I'll choke todeath..."

"Poor Akutagawa. I really am sorry to push a job like this on you." Oda said while totally not looking sorry at all.

"At least look sorry while you apologize you old fart." Beast Akutagawa said grumbling but calmed down as soon as Beast Atsushi put hi hand on his shoulder. 

This action of course did not go unnoticed by the two smart detective A.K.A Ranpo and Dazai how were snickering to themselves.

"I guess that's it for the first day. Hope you have better luck on the next ones." Chuuya said while Gin hugged Beast Akutagawa again, knowing that he was doing all this to find her.
