***Two-Bit's POV***
I sit in my living room and wait for my cousins to show up. I looked at the clock on the wall, which told me that they would arrive at any moment. I run my hand through my hair and just as I lay back deeper into the couch I hear a car engine outside. I peak out the window and it kinda freaks me out.
They are identical twins. Like, identical.
Like, same color pants, blue shirts, hair pulled back, black boots.
I'm so freaked out by it they have to ring the doorbell 3 times to get my attention.
When I open the door, I see them standing there with 2 small bags each.
"Keith!" One of them yells and hugs me tight. I remember then the one thing that differentiates the 2 - Alex always straightens her hair and Ellie always curls hers. I see their ponytails, and realize that the one I am hugging is Alex. Ellie smiles and hugs me once Alex lets go. I haven't seen these two since we were in diapers.
I invite them in and show them to my sisters old bedroom, which I put 2 twin beds in for company. After my sister and my mom left, I've been living alone.
They set their stuff down, then we meet in the living room.
"We want to meet your friends, Keith!" Ellie says. The name Keith makes me cringe a little. I let it pass because the last thing I want to do right now is be rude.
"We can meet go meet them right now if you want," I suggest. Alex and Ellie get really excited, then stop.
"We are going to need like an hour," Alex says firmly. I shake my head in disbelief, but don't counter back because she looks at me with such a look that I'm almost afraid to.
"Okay, go," I say. They run to their room, then to the guest bathroom. I wait for them in the living room, watching Mickey.
***Alex's POV***
Everyone thinks Ellie and I are the same just because we are identical. First off, I look nothing like her, and we have completely different styles in everything. There won't be a day in my life when my hair will be curled, and Ellie's hair refuses to ever be straightened.
Ellie and I run into our room. I grab my straightener and she grabs her curler, and we both grab makeup. I efficiently re-straighten my hair as Ellie re-curls hers, then we apply the right amount of makeup. I pack up and we return to our room together.
I pick out a white t shirt, black leggings, and my black high-tops. Ellie chooses ripped dark wash jeans, a white tank top, tall brown boots, and her red leather jacket. We do one final check of each other before heading out to Keith.
When he sees us, he sits up and rubs his eyes. Once people see us looking different, they see that Ellie and I aren't the same.
"Let's go!" He says and leads us out to his car.
I'm both anxious and excited to meet Keith's friends. What if they don't like us? What if they like us a little too much? I've sorted out 3 scenarios of what could happen by the time I'm standing on the porch, 2 of which I hope never happen.
