twenty four.

***Darry's POV***

I called this meeting together because I thought it'd be a good idea for everyone to know what is going on with everyone.

I contacted everyone in the gang, including all of the ladies. Every couple will have a chance to talk about anything important that they feel the rest of the gang should know.

Lauren and Bryce arrive first. Lauren is helping me run this meeting since she's my girlfriend now. Ponyboy agreed to entertain Bryce while we work things out for this evening because Johnny is taking Victoria out.

Soda shows up next. I don't know he brought a girl with him until he carries her out and they sit on the couch. He brushes her hair out for her and she ties his into a ponytail, which gives everyone in the house a laugh. I learn her name is Kayla, and I also learn that Soda is into her, she just doesn't know that yet.

Alex, Steve, and Ellie all come in at 5:45. None of them look that great. Alex looks like she's seen a ghost, Ellie looks like she's going to be sick, and Steve a little bit of both.

Victoria and Johnny stroll in around 5:50. Everyone begins to take a seat and eat the food I put out - chocolate cake and chocolate milk. Soda's gal seems to love chocolate milk as much as he does.

Dally walks in at 5:55, and when he sees Alex, his eyes light up like nothing I've ever seen. From what I've heard from Dally, they haven't seen each other in three weeks. She stands immediately and runs into his open arms. He kisses her quickly before pulling her over into an armchair. The second he gets there, I can tell she feels better. He can sense something is up, so he pulls her into his chest and lets her lay there.

The only gang member missing is Two-Bit. He sprints in at exactly 6:00, and dashes for his seat. He grabs a large slice of chocolate cake, and Lauren brings in a second and third cake as she sits down too.
