From miles away, one could see the massive walls rising above the horizon, carved with intricate depictions of beasts, gods, and the empire’s ancient wars of survival. These carvings were not merely decorations but reminders of the trials their ancestors endured and the strength that kept their people standing.
Beyond those walls, the city was filled with vibrant life such as markets ringing with the cries of traders and the scents of spice and roasted meat, while wolf, fox, and panther Beastkin moved freely among the crowds. Great herds were moving through the open fields to the stockyards, and caravans with grain, hides, and iron streamed in from the farthest reaches of the empire’s farmlands.
Immorgenaria itself was vast, spanning forests so deep they swallowed the horizon in shadow, deserts that burned beneath merciless suns, and endless grasslands that painted gold by the wind.
Its people lived by claw, spear, and magic, a civilization proud in its traditions. Though their craft could not rival the strange technologies of the humans, the artistry of their cities and the raw might of their rulers radiated a different kind of strength of their own, one born of nature and pride.
More than just another kingdom, Immorgenaria was one of the most powerful dominions of the Second Civilization Zone that rival the Elven Dominion of Sylva'Anor, home to millions of Beastkin of every species, from the smallest jackal to the mightiest lion.
At the very heart of the Great Savanna was a massive citadel and its golden stone catched the sunlight so brightly that it seemed to burn like a second sun.
This was Aslanthar Keep, the throne of the lion bloodline and a dynasty that had ruled unbroken since the empire’s founding. Its high towers rose like watchful guardians, while its vast courtyards combined the strength of a fortress with the serenity of a sanctuary, radiating majesty, authority, and power.
