Second Civilization Zone, Northeastern Continent, Land of the Fairy, No Man's Land.

4th Year of the New Age, Monday, 3rd Week, 10th Month of the Father.

At the heart of the blighted lands within the Fairy Continent, near the northeastern shore that had now been completely desecrated and taken over by the strangers from another land, there was a meeting being held.

It took place inside a tent, one of many that stood erect across the barren land. From the outside, it looked no different from the others with canvas stretched tight and ropes anchored into dead soil.

Unlike the surrounding tents, however, this had a certain importance to it. This place was clearly the center of their operations, the place where decisions were made and authority gathered. Only the most elite contributors were permitted inside.

The Grand Tent.

Its interior was several times more impressive than how it was represented from the outside. Perhaps this was due to its plentiful furniture and ample designs, despite it being nothing but a tent within a battle camp.

Even with the tension within the place, an air of regality still remained there.

Whether it came from the exclusivity associated with the gathering that was currently taking place there or the caliber of people present, the tent had a nigh flavorful vibe.

There was a massive and long table located at the center of the room, with three figures seated at the head of the table.

They were dressed in blue, purple, and silver respectively. Though it was inevitable that they would have intricate designs on their attire. Regardless of color, these three were clearly the ones in charge of the meeting.

They were the Dragon Generals, beings with the power and strength of Tier-2 Transcendents.

The others who lined along both sides of the table were the Dragon Commanders, five to the left and five to the right, and were all elite in their own right, beings with the strength and presence of Tier-1 Transcendents.

Then, at the foot of the table was a certain young man.

He did not resemble a Dragon in the slightest, as he had no horns, tail, or any draconic features to speak of. His appearance was very human-like, and though that was not the only odd thing about him.

The young man wore an oddly twisted smile as he sat among the Dragons, his glassy eyes quietly taking in what they were discussing while maintaining proper silence. He also appeared quite young, about 16 or 17 years of age, barely an adult by most standards.

Still, none of the Dragons in the room treated the human with scorn or disrespect. Not a single one dared to.

Why?

It was not only because of the Dragon Emperor's decree forbidding harm to humans, but they all recognized his value. To discriminate against him would not only be unnecessary on their part, it would be foolish.

"The days of those sparkling insects are numbered," one of the Dragon Commanders said as he delivered his report with a rather prideful tone. "They're being pushed back at an extremely rapid rate now."

Everyone who listened cracked a smile or a scoff openly at the subjects of the discussion. They all seemed incredibly pleased by what they were hearing.

"We estimate the conquest's progress will be brought right on schedule very soon," the Commander continued. "Within this week at the latest, their war base will be completely under our control."

They all chuckled at the news.

All thirteen Dragons present belonged to the same group, one of the 7 Elite Dragon Divisions in the Draconic Empire. They were famous even among their own kind.
