"WE'RE HERE!" My mom's voice echoes through my head for the last time.

I open my eyes slowly.

WE'RE ALIVE!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!
"Oh my gosh, I thought we were dead!" I scream to a smiling Joshua.
"Be more mature, you two! I know I am mature, so you guys probably get it from your dad. Eh, not surprising." My mom says, with a worm coming out her nose. Deworming again, I'm guessing.
"Ew, mother Hawkes." I hear Joshua say, and I burst out laughing.
"You boys are trying to embarrass me, aren't you? I remember when you two were babies, and you kissed each other on the lips all the-"
"STOP IT MOTHER HAWKES!" Joshua screams again.
"No. Get out." She points at the door.
"OKAY BYE MOTHER HAWKES!" Joshua screams frantically and rushes out of the car.
We get out and stand on the curb, watching her drive away. She doesn't move the car right away though. Suddenly, a worm comes flying out the window and at my face.
