Chapter 11 - Worst Day Ever

Chapter 11

*JOSHUA HAWKES*

IT'S MY GEOGRAPHY TEACHER!!! THIS IS SO BAD!!!! HE EMBARRASSES ME ALL THE TIME DURING CLASS!!

I immediately duck my head under the table.

"What in the world are you doing, Joshua?!" Avery almost screams.

I realize I am sitting on her foot. And I am like 150 pounds.

Her foot is comfortable.

I try sitting up, but I bump my head on the table. "OW!!" I scream like a girl. All my food falls on to my chair, but Jacob doesn't see that for some reason, so he pulls me up from under the table and forces me down on to my seat. "JACOB! I JUST SAT ON ALL MY FOOD!"

I see Mr. King, who's real name is Leo King coming towards us.

"QUICK!" I start to panic. This is the most embarrassing thing ever. If he sees all the food on my butt, he'll definitely tell my entire geography class this story. I decide that my next action is the best option at the moment.

I duck my head under the table again.

"Joshua! You are embarrassing us in front of our dates!" Jacob screams.

"Sorry, but-" I start.

"Well, well. I see an old friend of mine, JACOB SELENA HAWKES!" Mr. King announces to everyone in the restaurant then walks away.

I finally am able to get out of under the table. I IMMEDIATELY run to the boy's washroom. I look in the mirror, and see that my hair is completely messed up, there's a red bump from being hit on the bottom of the table. Plus, there's like, three pieces of gum stuck in my hair because there was a lot of gum under the table, and my clothes have food on them.

This is the worst day ever. I start crying.

Suddenly, Jacob bursts into the bathroom. He is very mad. "I can't believe Mr. King said my middle name! It's so embarrassing."

"Yeah, he even announced it to the entire restaurant." I add.

He looks at me. "WERE YOU CRYING, JOSHUA EVANS HAWKES!?!!?!??!?!!" He looks at my clothes and disheveled hair. "Oh." He grabs my hand, and rushes me out the back door of the restaurant.

Well, that was a GREAT ending to my first double date.
