*AVERY STARR*
"Adalynn! I just got the best idea ever! I know you like Jacob very, very -"
"I do not!" She interrupts but I continue anyway.
"- much, so... We could go on a double date! Joshua would be my date, and Jacob would be yours! That would be perfect. I'll give Joshua a call to plan things out." I narrow my eyes. "Adalynn don't even try stopping me."
I hear Adalynn sigh while I take out my cellphone and start dialing Joshua's number.
*JOSHUA HAWKES*
I suddenly hear my phone ringing. I read the caller ID: Avery Starr.
My eyes light up, I'm so happy she's calling. I click the answer button.
"Hello?" I ask, even though I already know that it's her.
"Hi Joshua!" She says perkily. "I just wanted to know if you'd like to go on a double date. You and I, and your brother Jacob and my sister Adalynn."
"Oh. Uh, sure, I just have to check with Jacob. I'll text you the answer in five minutes." I reply.
"Okay, bye! I hope he says yes, bye again!" She says excitedly, then hangs up.
I skip - yes, I can skip, over to my brother's room where he is jamming out to his favourite song: Centuries by Fall Out Boy.
"YO BRO." He shouts. "YOU CAN SKIP?" He looks shocked.
I roll my eyes. "YES, NOW SHUT THE MUSIC OFF." I yell.
"NO THANKS." He is annoying.
I skip (yes, once again) over to the speakers, and shut it off. I'm kidding, I walked.
"WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?" Jacob yells.
"WHY ARE YOU YELLING?" I yell back.
"YOU ARE AN ANNOYING PIECE OF POOP." He yells, annoyed.
"AVERY WANTS ME AND HER TO GO ON A DATE BUT SHE ALSO WANTS YOU AND ADALYNN GO ON A DATE TOO. SO BASICALLY A DOUBLE DATE. DO YOU WANT TO GO OR NOT."
His eyes are widened in shock. "YES YES YES YES YES YES YES!!!!" He shouts.
"Why are you still yelling?"
"Because I want to." He blushes. WAIT. My brother blushes?
I burst out laughing. "YOU BLUSHED HAHAHAHA."
"Sorry." He blushes until he is tomato red.
I take my phone out and text Avery telling her we are going.
When is the double date? I text.
One hour. I get a text back.
WHAT?! ONLY ONE HOUR TO GET READY?!?!?!?!?!!??!?!?!??!
I freak out so much...
That I faint.
Kidding. I fell asleep on Jacob's bed, but I just looked like I fainted. Don't worry about it.
