Chapter 13 - Kicked Out

Chapter 13

*ADALYNN STARR*

"HAHAHAHA! THAT GUY WHO WENT ON A DATE WITH YOU HAS A GIRL MIDDLE NAME? HAHAHA!" My mom says to me and starts laughing again.

"HAHAHA!" I turn around and see that Avery has joined in on the laughing business.

"Guys, stop. It's not nice. His middle name might be a girl name, and you're laughing, but how come you don't laugh at my middle name? It's a boy name, you know." I tell them.

"Oh yeah! Your middle name is Theo! HAHAHAHA!" Avery starts laughing, tears start falling on to the ground from her eyes.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Now my mom is laughing too. I decide to make them annoyed.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" They continue laughing with tears spilling out their eyes.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! They continue laughing with tears spilling out their eyes." I say like a narrator, on purpose of course! Suddenly they stop.

"EXCUSE ME, ADALYNN? IF YOU ARE GOING TO CONTINUE DOING THAT, I WILL LITERALLY KICK YOU OUT OF THE HOUSE. I ALREADY GAVE YOU A WARNING ALREADY. YOU ARE SO LUCKY THAT AVERY CAME AND STOPPED ME." Mother Slithering yells.

"EXCUSE ME, ADALYNN? IF YOU ARE GOING TO CONTINUE DOING THAT, I WILL LITERALLY KICK YOU OUT OF THE HOUSE. I ALREADY GAVE YOU A WARNING ALREADY. YOU ARE SO LUCKY THAT AVERY CAME AND STOPPED ME. Mother Slithering yells." I say copying her again.

"That's it. Get out of the house." Mother Slithering says, calmly, but with a really evil expression, and an even more angry expression on top of that.

"Okay, bye!" I say happily. I am so glad that I can now go and find Jacob.

I leave through the front door and grab my bike. I bike to nowhere. I turn again and see Avery biking behind me.

*JACOB HAWKES*

I am walking around at night. I don't know why. I have this weird feeling inside me that Adalynn will somehow appear in front of me. I know it won't happen though, that's only in stories.

I keep walking for like 15 minutes.

All of a sudden, Adalynn appears in front of me on her bike.

WHAT?!?!?

"AHHHHHHHHH!" I say, actually scream awkwardly. "WE ARE IN A STORY!"

"Uh... Jacob."

"WHAT? WE ARE IN A FAIRYTALE!" I continue to panic and I start doing cartwheels all over the place.

All of a sudden, Avery appears. I immediately stop doing cartwheels.

I figure that I only do embarrassing stuff in front of the person I like, so since Avery is here, and I don't like her, I don't do embarrassing stuff and I just act like a normal human being.

Avery looks at me weirdly, but then turns to Adalynn. "WHY DID YOU LEAVE, ADALYNN THEO STARR?!"

I am so surprised. Her middle name is a boy name? And my middle name is a girl name? Maybe we're actually meant to be!

I grab Adalynn and then kiss her.
