<Hope's p.o.v>
After the meeting with Xavier, a social worker came in to talk to me.
Well, I say talk.
More like go on about how I'll be fine and there's nothing to worry about and there's always people to talk to.
When he was finally finished, I was led out of the hospital into a car.
The car journey was a short one.
When we arrived, the man ushered me out of the car.
We came to a big building.
It looked friendly enough, with its shiny windows, and gravel path.
The man took me inside, and I was greeted with a massive explosion of sound.
I jumped, and started to panic.
People were jumping about, dancing to this horrendously loud music, and there was a massive banner reading;
Welcome, Hope!
In many different colours.
People seemed happy.
Too happy.
I should be happy.
Why wasn't I?
I hugged my arms to myself.
I didn't like this one bit.
A tall lady introduced herself.
She had stern eyes, but a kind-looking face.
Many people introduced themselves, but I wasn't listening.
Everything was too loud. Too happy.
I needed to sit down.
I tried to find a seat, but they were all taken.
People were too close.
Their skin was making contact with mine, and it brought back all the horrifying memories.
I tensed up.
I was breathing heavily.
My eyes were darting around nervously.
I was about to collapse when a familiar face came into view.
Xavier.
I saw him and threw my body ojti his.
Then I found paper and a pen, and wrote.
I don't like this. Make the music stop.
Xavier looked confused, then faintly hurt, but soon enough, the music stopped.
But it didn't feel any better.
The people were too close, and now they were all staring.
Their eyes were burning holes into my skull, and I couldn't handle it.
I ran to the door and yanked it open.
I started to run.
People called my name, but I wasn't listening.
I had to get away from this town.
I ran down the street.
I glanced behind me to see my social worker, and the tall lady who introduced her self earlier chasing after me.
I ran faster.
They were coming to get me.
I ran with more determination than ever, and soon I had lost them.
But I had also lost myself.
I had no clue where I was at all.
I walked down street after street, but not once did I recognize where I was.
The sky started to darken.
I was too tried tobkeep walking, so I collapsed onto a curb and started to cry.
My whole body shook with each sob.
Then I hear a voice.
"Are you lost, kitten?" It asked.
I glanced up with wary eyes and nodded.
The guy smiled. But, it seemed wrong in some way.
"Come with us." He said and motioned to a group of men behind him.
I knew enough about the outside world to turn down this offer.
I shook my head and started to stand up.Then he grabbed my shoulder with a death grip.
"Whyever not?" He asked with menace in his eyes.
The contact of his hand on my shoulder sent my insides churning.
It was like Harvey all over again.
I tried to shurg my shoulder away.
He grabbed on tighter.
"I asked you a question, kitten."
My body was shaking.
I shook my head and tried to run away.
It was impossible in his death grip.
"Why run away, kitten. Don't you want to play?"
I bit my lip and shook my head.
This made him really angry.
"Boys, grab her."
