<Hope's p.o.v>
After spilling out my story to Rebecca and Hana, we discussed 'The Man In The Window'.
A.k.a, Harvey.
"Do you think I should tell Xavier?" I asked.
Rebecca nodded firmly.
"Yes. He can help you, Hope. He's known you longer than us. Honestly, just do it. Trust me." I bit my lip and nodded slowly.
"I'll call him right now, and ask him to come over." Hana and Rebecca nodded.
I left the room and dialed his number on my phone.
He picked up after the third ring.
"Hope? Is everything okay?" I bit my lip harder.
"Not really." I told him slowly.
"What do you mean 'not really'?" He asked warily.
"Um... Look, can you come over here, and I can explain."
"What's going o--" I ended the calk before he could finish his sentence.
A short five minutes later, there was a knock at the door.
Well that was quick...
I answered it to find a very flustered-looking Xavier and Blake.
"You brought Blake along?" I asked in dismay.
"Well, yeah. He's my best friend." I sighed and let them in.
Before they could ask anything, Corey came down the stairs in his spiderman pajamas.
"What's going on...?" He asked, looking at Xavier and Blake suspiciously.
"I was just widering that myself," Xavier said, staring at me.
"By the way, nice pajamas." Blake said. Corey blushed.
I sighed and ran a hand through my hair.
"You guys should probably come to my room." I told them, before leading them up to where Rebecca and Hana were waiting.
Their eyes widened at the sight of all three of the boys.
"I never knew you were bringing the whole squad round." Rebecca told me, narrowing her eyes at me.
"Neither did I." I told her.
She frowned at me, but before she could reply, Xavier spoke up.
"I'd quite like to know why I've been invited here." I took a deep breath and nodded.
I told them about how I saw Harvey through my window.
Xavier was fuming, and Blake was desperately trying to calm him down, while Corey was standing there with an utterly bewildered look on his face.
I internally face-palmed myself.
He didn't know anything about my back story.
"Rebecca, you explain. I'm too tired. I haven't slept the whole night." I announced.
Rebecca nodded.
She took Corey to the side, and explained everything.
He came back with a pale face, and looked at me in the eye.
"Your okay, now. Right? Oh, damn. Hope, I'm so sorr--" I cut him off.
"Don't worry, I'm over it." I lied.
He nodded and shut up.
"Hope, you need to tell an adult." I whipped my head round to face him.
"Now way. They'd whisk me off some place else and I'd never see you lot again." Xavier groaned.
"But, this is serious. This is your safety we're talking about here."
"I'll be fine."
"But you won't, will you?! If that was definitely Harvey, your going to be far from fine!" I bit my lip so hard, I tasted blood.
"I just... I don't want him to hurt all of you lot in the process." I told them all.
"Hope, we don't care what he does to us, we'd be rubbish friends if we just let him have you like that."
"And I'd be a rubbish friend if I let you all get hurt! There's no way I'm letting that happen to any of you. No way." I finished, and stood up, ready to march out.
But, before I could, Xavier grabbed my arm.
"No way am I letting him get his filthy hands on you again. Not happening." I wrenched my grip away.
"Xavier, please don't do this to me! I've made my desicion, now go and live your life like I never existed. It's not like it would make much of a difference."
It was Rebecca's turn to speak up now.
"Don't even consider it, Hope. I know what your thinking. Not happening. We can sort this out!" I sobbed.
"No, we can't. I spent most the night thinking about it. This is the only way you lot don't go down with me. Now, let me leave."
