<Hope's p.o.v>

Not much happened from then on.

So, let's skip to a week later, when I was fully recovered.

"Um.... Hope, I was wondering if,maybe, you'd like to go on a date? I mean, you dont have to. It was just a suggestio--"

I cut him off by kissing him.

"I take that as a yes?" He mumbled against my lips.

I nodded.

I broke off the kiss.

"When?" He shrugged.

"This Friday, 7pm??" I grinned.

"Sounds great."

It was Monday, so I had to wait four days, but I could manage.

Ever since that day when I kissed Xavier, I could never have been happier.

This was the best I'd felt all my life.

And I was so glad.

But, I had school.

(Horray.)

I sighed and got dressed and ready for school.

When I was finished, Corey was waiting for me at the door.

"I've missed you coming to school." I sighed.

"Is Megan being too... Megan?" I asked, groaning.

He winced.

"Unfortunately. Yes."

I laughed, and we set off for school again.

I turned to him.

"Can you be a girl for, like, one second?" He frowned.

"Well no, I'm a guy." I huffed.

"Try? For me?" I pouted at him.

It was his turn to huff.

"Fineeeeee." I laughed and did a happy dance which I had made up just now.

"You look ridiculous. Please stop." I giggled and stopped.

"Now, to the girly stuff. Well... Xavier asked me out!"

Corey's eyes widened.

"OMYGAWSH! REALLY? TELL. ME. EVERYTHING. HOW DID IT HAPPEN. WHEN WAS THIS? WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME EARLIER?!" I shuckled.

"So you can be a girl." He laughed, but then added.

"Seriously. I wanna know everything."

We spent the whole walk there talking about it.

Then, we arrived at school, where Megan was waiting at the gates.

She looked faintly shocked to see me with Corey, but his it easily.

She strutted up to Corey, and I could tell he was holding in a groan.

"Hey there, Core man." I snorted.

She turned to me.

"I don't know what your laughing at, Hopeless." I looked her dead in the eye.

"Oh really? Because its pretty clear what I'm laughing at. You." I said, venom dripping off every word.

She pretended to look shocked.

"CorCor, did you hear what that awful bully just said to me?!" Corey groan aloud now.

"Leave. Me. Alone." She pouted.

"You don't mean that." She linked arms with him.

He jerked his arm away from hers.

She pretended not to notice.

"What did you do over the weekend, Coreh?" Corey didn't answer.

"Really?! Well, I went shopping. Wanna know what I brought?"

"No."

"I brought--"

"Just shut up, clearly he doesn't want to talk to you. So stop wasting your time and go annoy someone else." She growled.

"You better watch whobyoir talking to, mute."

I snorted again.

"Clearly, I'm not mute. Didn't you hear me talking?" I paused. "Oh yeah. Your just too dumb to even realize."

She gave me a look.

"At least I don't have these pathetic scars all over me." She told me.

I swear, I almost exploded right there.

"You better watch what you say." I whispered harshly.

"Or what?"

"You do not want to know."

Megan was about to respond, when Corey grabbed my arm.

"She's not worth it." He told me.

Trust me, I know.

I shot her a final glare, before turning on my heel and leaving.

I didn't show it, but I was pretty shaken up about the fact that she had seen my scars.

And I could tell she knew about my past.
