<Xavier's p.o.v>
The receptionist sighs.
"It is unsure whether or not she will be healthy enough, mentally and physically, to leave the hospital by the original date she was due to leave."
I bite my lip.
"C-can I go and see h-er?"
I ask nervously. I'm so damn scared.
The receptionist smiles sweetly, and says.
"Of course. Just this once." I nod and make my way out of school with Blake.
I walk feverishly fast to the hospital, and eventually Blake has to stop me.
"Bro, I understand that you worried and all, and, fuck, so am I, but seriously dude you need to calm down. Its not like Ms. Sohal said she was never going to get out of the hospital. She will eventually. Just wait on it."
I bit my lip and nodded.
I took a deep breath.
"Okay." And I slowed my pace down slightly.
Slightly.
I arrived at the hospital, and almost ran to the receptionist there.
"Hello, we're here to see Hope Evans. What room is she in?" I ask in a paincky voice.
The lady there looks slightly overwhelmed by my rush, but directs me to Hope's room.
As soon as we're there, I barge in through the doors.
Hope isn't in the hospital bed.
I frown, and check in the bathroom.
I have to resist the urge to scream.
Hope is lying there, in the corner, unconcious.
Her skin is deathly pale and she is shaking slightly.
I gasp and run to her side.
I shake her shoulders.
"Hope! Hope, wake up. Wake up. Please, wake up!" I cry out.
Tears are streaming down my face.
I don't care.
As long as Hope is okay.
Blake had gone into Hope's room to press the emergency help button.
I stay by Hope, still emerged in my own tears.
A doctor comes rushing in.
He sees Hope and squares his shoulders, suddenly all-business.
He checks her pulse and does other doctory things to check shes okay.
I just stand back, paralyzed by fear.
My hands are shaking as I watch the scene unravel.
The doctor puts Hope on a bed, and starts carting her off somewhere.
I come out of my trance, and start to follow him hurriedly.
"Oh, I'm sorry son. You can't come with her if you aren't family." All the blood rushed from my head.
I try to think of an excuse.
"Um... I-Im her ... Boyfriend?" The doctor sighs, and nods.
"Fine then." I smile in satisfaction, and carry on following them.
The doctor stops at a large room.
"You'll have to wait on those benches there while we try to diagnose her."
I nod and bite my lip.
Then Blake came running up to me in a hiff.
"Bro, you just left me there. I had to run to catch up with you!"
I laugh, and motion for him to sit by me.
There's a slience between us.
"Have you asked her out yet?" Blake asks suddenly, wiggling his eyebrows.
I laugh again.
"No! I haven't exactly had the chance, have I? She's wither been avoiding us or in hospital!"
Blake rolls his eyes.
"Just get it over and done with. She clearly likes you back, I don't know why your so scared, dude." I raise my eyebrows at him.
"And how do you know that she's into me?"
"Aw, come on. Your telling me that you haven't seen the looks she gives you?!" I shake my head.
"What looks? Your just messing. Stop it."
Blake shakes his head insistently.
But before he can speak, the doctor reappears from the doorway.
"Come in, boys." He tells us.
I shoot a worried glance at Blake before walking into the room.
