<Hope's p.o.v>
Once Corey and I had put considerable distance between us and Megan, he turned to me.
"Hope, what scars were she talking about?" I started down at my feet.
"I'd rather not tell you." He shrugged and let it go.
I sighed in relief.
"Ugh. That Megan is a complete bitch talking to you like that." I nodded.
"And then, she's trying to throw herself all over me!" I nodded again, absentmindedly.
"She honestly needs talking to. She's over stepping the boundaries by about a mile."
He arrived on blabbering on, until Xavier and Blake came walking toward us.
"Whatcha' talking about?" Blake asked.
I sighed.
"Megan." Xavier stepped forward.
"What did she do now?" He asked, putting an arm around my waist.
I blushed at the movement.
"She commented on my scars." I mumbled.
Xavier's anger flared.
"She did what?! That is it. I'm going to go talk to her." My eyes widened.
"No! No, please dont. She'll just come back to me harder. It's fine. I've felt with it." I told him desperately.
He sighed.
"Fine then. But if she bothers you about anything like that again, I don't care. I'm going to talk to her."
"She won't." I mumble.
"Hmph." There was an awkward silencr, then Blake spoke up.
"So... Are you two, like, a thing?"
He gestured to Xavier and me.
I shrugged.
"I guess so." His jaw dropped.
"SINCE WHEN?!" Just then, the bell went.
I slipped off to my first lesson to avoid any more questions.
Apart from the Megan incident in the morning, the week slipped by pretty fast.
Before I knew it, it was Friday night.
Date time.
Unfortunately, I had no clue what to wear and I looked like a clown every time I tried to do make-up.
So, I asked Rebecca and Hana to help.
I borrowed one of Rebecca's dresses.
It had a white top, with buttons up to the collar, and a joint skirt which was a silvery colour.
Hana did my hair and make up.
She did a messy bun, and she applied just the right amount of make up.
By the end of it, I had to admit, I actually looked a lot less ugly.
Then, there was a knock at the door.
Rebecca and Hana squealed, and I went to answer it.
Xavier was standing there, in a black suit and a tie on.
His eyes widened at the sight of me.
"You look... Amazing!" I blushed, and said nervously.
"So do you." He grinned and grabbed my hand.
He took me into his car and piut a blindfold over my eyes.
He started the car, and I asked;
"Where are we going?"
"Its a surprise." I bit my lip.
"A nice one?"
"Of course!" He chuckled.
I nodded my head slowly.
"Are we nearly there yet?" He sighed.
"Yep."
"How many minutes?"
"Are you going to be this annoying all the journey?" I laughed.
"I'm just teasing."
He laughed too.
After a few minutes, the car finally stopped.
He opened my door for me, and guided me out.
We walk for a little bit, him guiding the way.
Then he stopped me, and told me to take my blindfold off.
I did.
And the image before me was beautiful.
He had taken us to the local park.
He had gotten a bench and lit it with candle light.
There were fairy lights all over the surrounding trees.
And there was a picnic basket by the bench.
It was just perfect.
I put and hand to my mouth in shock.
"Xavier, it's... Wonderful."
