The PAPER constructs from The Book itself are, while durable against conventional weapons fire and obstacles, weak against stronger foes, requiring Alfred to employ stronger resources for his constructs, like metal, where available for bigger opponents.
It also takes time to flick the book to the right page, and to perform the brief ritual needed to summon the construct.
Backstory:
During the Second Battle for Earth, John gave Alfred a large book for the hell dimension Salcikard. In the dimension, the ruling family used the books to perform unholy rituals, literally creating terrible beings from almost nothing of physical value. Creatures. Servants. Armouries. All created by simply touching a page of the book corresponding with what you wish to summon, then touching a material, such as metal, bone or wood. Alfred has since refined the technique with the magic paper from the book itself, allowing him to fire explosive ballistic missiles of a durable, metal-like paper with a flick of his wrist across a page.
The power is useful for either taking on one-to-two opponents, providing artillery support from a distance, or for aiding in crowd control and evacuation. While these power of Alfred's are especially useful in disasters, his real powers lie in preparation, as he can copy and edit the patterns found in the book to create big, one-use summons to get him in the right position for a fight.
Alfred is currently, illegally (against the UN's orders) researching more about the book in his spare time as well as attending the meetings, determined to learn more about the science and limits behind his seemingly unlimited-use gift...
Ultimate:
Alfred summons a giant statue of magically-strong paper in front of him, then uses a giant paper hand to pick up said statue and beat his opponent(s) into the dirt with it.
