"Did you really think I'd challenge you without back-up?" Slab smirked, his titanic stone body moving to the side to reveal the rest of his compatriots.
Darkness- the second person whose powers over shadow can blind, hurt and kill those she chooses, her feline body fitting snugly into the title armoured suit. Crypt- a elderly practitioner of the occult arts who seeks to extend his youth through the death of the young. Scorcher- a young pyromaniac whom wields his flamethrower with deadly glee.
The Murder Quartet.
Isy smiled, extending his hidden blades with a flick of his wrists, adopting a battle stance and a quick grin.
"Gee, I wish I thought of that..." he replied, as the loading bay door to the warehouse blew apart behind him.
"Oh wait!" he finished, as Ellin- Mindwarp- walked up next to him, putting a playful arm on his shoulder.
"Hey" he greeted.
"Hi. Trouble?" she replied, gesturing to the dumbfounded Quartet.
"Just a tad. Be a dear?"
"Of course" she obliged, waving her hand and causing the villainous group to collapse unconscious as she pried into their brains. She turned back to Isy, whom was sending a text message on his phone.
"Well, that was a one-time thing. Won't be doing that on them again. Drinks later?" she asked.
"Can't, I'm afraid. Johnny has me on monitor duty"
"Oh that's too bad"
Isy smiled. While everyone called, and he sometimes believed, their relationship 'complex', it was nice to know she had his back when he asked for it."Well, I'm off to catch up on the Walking Dead, so you have fun looking at uninteresting, super-boring...things" she finished, smirking as she teleported away.
He pulled down his hood, scowling. On the other hand she could be a total bitch when she wanted to be.
