You bring out the beast in me
Lily's POV
"Aannnd here. It's done." Sky said and unplugged the curling iron. We were both officially done and ready for Halloween. It was five o'clock now. We've spent almost two hours getting ready, between hair, makeup, and wardrobe for the both of us it takes a while. I turned and looked in the mirror, not recognizing the girl in the mirror. I stood up, slowly walking to the mirror, taking in my appearance.
My hair was pulled into pigtails, which Sky loosely curled, with bright red ribbons. She had also done my makeup full out. Contour and all with smoky, silver brown eye shadow and bright red lips. My costume looked even better on me now because Skylar has given me this waist trainer thing to make me look curvier than I am. It's kind of like a corset, but I can breath, and made me look two sizes smaller than I am. My thigh high socks with the sparkle red flats completed everything. I had also bought myself lace fingerless gloves that went past my elbows, covering all the marks on my arms. I don't look like myself, but I don't know if I like or not.
"You look stunning. If Vic isn't trying to get with you, you'll have a bunch of other guys." Sky said. Why is everything about guys and romance? I just want to have fun with my friends. I looked to Skylar who looked even better than me. I had wondered why she had gotten a costume in a smaller size, but now with her corset thing on it looked perfect. She looked gorgeous without makeup, so now she looked like an angel descending from heaven. Her hair was curled and sexy, completing her entire look.
"I guess. I feel amazing though. I can't believe I can actually look like this without Photoshop." I said and laughed. She laughed too.
"Let's get ready." She said. I turned around and grabbed my purse. I'm defiantly not carrying this with me at the party, so I put some money in my phone case and thanked the people who made this costume that they put a snap close pocket.
"I'm ready." I said. She agreed, going on to tell me about how excited she is. We walked down my stairs and out of my house, me locking the door behind me. My mom had to go deal with some 'business' so probably something about the divorce she has yet to talk to me about. But she went over the rules and I know that she has a lot of trust in me. I feel if she saw me right now she wouldn't be letting me go out. The bowl of candy was outside, and the air felt... spooky. I don't think I've ever been more excited.
"I'm so fucking ready for this I'm gonna explode!" She said and did a little hop, her short heels clicking against the pavement. She was actually a tiny bit taller than me.
"I know, just kinda pissed we get no candy." I said sarcastically and laughed. I don't mind it; I could always buy candy. Skylar laughed loudly as we walked into Vic's yard. He told us to go into the basement. I was kinda scared to see the guys. Skylar gasped and paused, looking horrified even though there was nothing to be horrified about.
"What? What's wrong?!" I asked panicked.
"The guys, I have the face paint. They're not ready." She said. I rolled my eyes; I guess she thought we were automatically leaving.
"We're not leaving for an hour." I said and opened the door to the basement. I walked in front of her and down the stairs, to hear music playing loudly. I walked into the basement to see all the guys in their costumes, standing around talking. My heart was beating loud as Sky and I arrived into the basement. The music lowered as the guys all stared at us, nearly gawking. Maybe I shouldn't have worn a pushup bra.
"Holy shit." Mike said.
"Are you sure you guys are Lily and Skylar?" Tony said jokingly. I smiled and we walked in closer, standing by them.
