Jack's POV

I sat in the rolling chair in Savannah's room like I always did, except this time, I was furious. "Okay so exactly what is it that you want me to do?" she asked. I absolutely hate her right now, but I need to make sure that she knows not to bother Lily anymore.

"You need to stop pushing Lily around. I want to get her back but you just scare her away from me. This is the first time I've actually had hard feelings for a girl and now all you want to do is keep her away from me. Are you jealous of her or something?" I said. It's a lot, I know, but I need to get the point across and if I don't, well I'm screwed.

"First of all I'm not jealous. Why would anyone be jealous of her? I can get anybody I want and all she does is chase you away. And you do not have feelings for her. Plus, you can't tell me what to do and I do what I want!" She spat back at me. I felt disgusted.

"No. Not anymore. Remember how we were best friends? And how I know all your secrets? You want them spread all over the school? You think you're all that? I could and can be double." I said narrowing my eyes at her.

She stood straight up. "You wouldn't." she said looking scared for once. I don't want to be the type of person she is, but if this is what it takes I'm glad to.

"I would. And if you want them kept secret, you'll leave her alone." I said. It was quiet for a minute.

"Get out. Get out of my house until you get your mind back because you've lost it! She screwed you up! She's horrible for you and know she... did something to you! Now just... LEAVE!" She yelled. I stood up.

"You'll regret being a bitch to everything that breathes." I said  and walked out.

Vic's POV

"Next time you insult me around Lily, just don't make it about how my love life goes." I said as I got up from his bed. He laughed a little, but my hitting him with a pillow shut him up. I really hope Lily can't understand Spanish, or then I'd be screwed.

"Oh come, on. It's so true. You've been sitting out there in the leaves holding hands and everything yet you can't even gather the nerve to ask her out." He said. I spun around to face him.

"You know I get nervous easily. I'm just waiting for the right time." I said.

"Oh cry me a river Vic. The right moment is now. For Gods sake we just had a cookie dough fight or whatever the hell that was. That had to have been the best moment ever." He said. It was defiantly not. My little brother knows a lot of things, but romance isn't one of them. I pray that he grows out of it.

"No it wasn't. I want the perfect moment. One that my little brother isn't in the room flinging cookie dough around." I said. He rolled his eyes at me. Little punk.

"Okay but if you don't tell her soon I will. No use in hiding it. I can tell she's into you too." He said.

"Yeah right." I mumbled and walked out of his room.

"Have fun being forever friend zoned!" he yelled after me. I went into my room and fought the urge to slam my door shut.

I took off my clothes and changed into my pajamas. Everything was racing through my mind, giving me a migraine. I laid down on my bed and let Mike's words play over again in my head. I don't know if I'm seriously into her enough to ask her out, but I know how she makes me feel, and it's not an every day feeling.

Lily's POV

The day was going fine, almost normal. Skylar was going to her class while I was walking to mine, so I was alone. I was happy as I could possibly be in school. Well, until I heard heels clicking behind me. Is there ever a day where they'll sacrifice beauty for comfort? I clutched my books against my chest and hoped she wouldn't notice me. Wrong.
