Hey guys! I hope you guys are enjoying the story because I've gotten mixed reviews from my friends. Some thought it was great, others thought it dragged in the begining. If you think the second, they all said it got better with the next chapters.

There is a big jump of one moth in this chapter because it was unnecessary to write out the entire month, and it would've dragged even more.

So, remember to vote, comment, and share your opinions on what you think!! Hope you enjoy

Lily's POV

One Month Later

Life. Was. Amazing.

Jake and I were dating. I have friends and somewhat of a social life. My grades are good and I'm happy. The only downside is that the whole 'bitch clique' except my boyfriend have slowly drifted away from me. We don't talk outside of school anymore, which I knew was going to happen since Skylar told me everything. But that's not it. There was a rumor going around the school that Savannah had been talking about me. Talking serious shit about me.

That's when we started to drift apart, because I was mad. She told me that everything was false, that she had never said anything about me, but I started to lose faith in her. In our friendship.

Jake was an amazing boyfriend though. From what I know on affection, he's clearly shown it to me. I don't think he loves me though. He was nothing like what Skylar had said. He was sweet and loving and actually cares about me.

When I walked into my first class early I was surprised to see Skylar already in her seat with her nose in a book. I sat next to her and tried to talked to her.

"What's with the book?" I asked.

"Book report due in three days. Only on page 15. Don't ask." She said without looking up. I laughed as everyone walked in. And by everyone I mean them. I kept my body turned towards Skylar until the teacher came in and started to teach. I noticed that Jake's seat was empty. He didn't text me saying that he would be out like he did the other time he was. I was getting nervous, but I suppressed it. I would text him as soon as I get to lunch. I'll be nervous until then, but I'll live.

Skylar and I walked into the lunchroom and she still had her nose in a book. "I'm gonna get my lunch. I'll be right back." She said and actually put the book down on the table so that she could go get her lunch. I sat down alone and pulled my phone out. Jake was on speed dial, so it barely took me 10 seconds to call him. It only rang twice before it went right to voicemail. He must've declined the call. Something's definitely up. I texted him and looked around the cafeteria. Maybe he's with everyone and they're just busy talking.

When I found Savannah and everyone sitting at their table I saw Jake still missing. But not before I saw him. He was just walking out of the cafeteria when Skylar sat down. "Something's wrong with Jake, I'm gonna go talk to him." I said as I slung my backpack over my shoulders and started to walk away. I didn't have time to hear her react because I was long gone. My heart was racing as I exited the lunch room. I saw him round a corner to the front corridor as I got out of the lunchroom. Where could he be going? Why is he going there?

I picked up the pace but I couldn't catch up without running, which I don't want to do. I rounded the corner to the front just to see him walk out. Our school let us leave for lunch, but he wouldn't go out alone. I ran outside and whipped in every direction to find him. He was going around to the picnic area. Confused, I kept following into the back part of the school. Before I rounded the corner I asked myself, why was I really doing this?
