3rd Person POV:

Wendy rode her bike alongside Dustin, going to the cemetery. Once they made it, they parked their bikes by a nearby tree, Dustin walking ahead to the headstone.

Wendy stood nearby, sighing quietly at the large 'BURN IN HELL' written in red paint. Dustin came prepared, like he always did, taking out the paint thinner from his backpack.

"Don't worry, Eddie," Dustin said softly. "Eventually they'll get bored."

Wendy looked at the drawn letters questionably.

"Dustin..something's weird about that paint," She said.

"Because it's fresh," Dustin said as he took out a rag from his backpack as well.

"No," Wendy stepped forward and kneeled next to him.

She swiped a finger, getting the liquid on her finger. She curiously sniffed it.

"See?" Dustin asked. "It's just drying–"

"Dustin, this isn't paint," Wendy said in seriousness.

Dustin would argue, but Wendy knows paint. She uses it constantly, knows each consistency with all different colors, the scent of paint. If Wendy says this isn't paint, then what the hell is it?

They looked down at the foot of the stone, noticing something strange within the dried and dead leaves. Dustin reached forward, pushing the leaves to the side and there they saw a dead snake. Not just any snake. Jake the Snake, the classroom pet at their school. The very snake Dustin used to get back at Andy.

Wendy and Dustin stood up quickly. If this was fresh, then that means–

"You should really keep a better eye on your pets, Henderson," Andy said as he approached them. Three more of his friends appeared, surrounding them.

"It's dangerous out there," One of them said. "They shouldn't be left alone like that."

"Hey there, freaks," Another said. "Long time so see."

"Hiya," The last waved with a smirk.

Wendy and Dustin stood side by side as they were surrounded. But they held no fear. They've faced worse than teenage boys on an ego trip.

Dustin started laughing, which seemed to piss off Andy more.

"Something funny?" He asked sharply.

"It's just, uh, in Eddie's last campaign, I defeated Vecna's lead acolyte by casting Prismatic Spray," Dustin informed. Wendy blinked a couple times, trying to figure out where he's going with this. "One D8 turned up a 7. Violet."

"Is that supposed to be English, freak?" Andy asked in confusion.

"Well, violet Prismatic Spray is the deadliest," Wendy said like it was obvious. "It causes..blindness."

Now Wendy understood. Dustin and Wendy were on the same page.

"Now!" Dustin shouted, shoving Andy back roughly.

Wendy quickly reached down, grabbing the paint thinner can. Dustin covered his eyes as Wendy splashed the faces of the jocks. Wendy was shoved onto the ground roughly, groaning a little. Her ankle was grabbed and she was dragged along the ground with a yelp.

"Get off me!" Wendy shouted, kicking the jock off.

She scrambled to a stand, seeing Dustin behind held as Andy and another jock pushed at him repeatedly. Wendy ran to the closest jock, jumping onto his back with a grunt.
