3rd Person POV:
Wendy sat in the backseat of Steve's car in boredom, Steve and Dustin in the front, as they watched Erica enact the first part of their plan. Drug the Turnbows with pie. It was about 15 minutes later that Erica stepped out of the front door, giving everyone the signal that the Turnbows are now drugged and asleep.
Everyone went inside the house, successfully removing the family off the property and prepping the house for the demogorgon. They made traps outside of Derek's room, filled the water balloons with acetone, cut a hole in the floor of the living room so they could ensnare the demogorgon with barbed wire so they could set it on fire and Nancy could shoot it with the tracker.
After everything was done and set in place, the team got into their positions. Steve, Dustin, and Wendy in Steve's car to track the demogorgon and warn everyone when it's coming. Nancy and Jonathan in the basement to tag the demogorgon. Lucas inside the house to bait the demogorgon to the trap. And Mike inside the house as well to ensure the demogorgon gets in the trap.
Wendy felt an unpleasant chill, like creepy crawlies running up and down her spine. She rolled her shoulders to get rid of the feeling, shaking her head a little.
"You okay?" Dustin noticed.
"No," Wendy huffed knowingly, holding her side. "It's coming."
"How long do we have until it comes?" Steve asked.
"About 30 seconds," Wendy said, looking towards the windshield. "It's right there.."
The three of them saw the street lamps flicker one by one, going closer and closer to the Turnbow house.
"Look alive, it's showtime," Wendy said into the radio to warn the others as the lights inside the house started to flicker. "Radio silence unless absolutely necessary."
They watched as the demogorgon ripped a gate open on the ceiling of Derek's room.
"God, that thing still looks ugly.." Wendy muttered.
"Any idea what it's thinking?" Dustin asked.
"Just..get Derek and get out," Wendy shook her head a little.
They waited a little, hearing the demogorgon shriek and a gunshot from Nancy's shotgun. Wendy groaned a little, holding her shoulder, before a white hot pain spread from her head to her toes. Wendy thrashed in the backseat.
"Wendy? Wendy!" Steve reached back in worry.
"Ow!" Wendy shouted. "Shit, that hurts!"
"It flipped! It flipped!" Mike shouted through the radio.
"Signal acquired," Dustin said quickly. "Heading.."
"Dustin, how close?" Steve pressed.
Nancy and Jonathan appeared, scaring the two of them, before the couple jumped in the backseat, squishing Wendy in the middle.
"Where is it?" Jonathan asked.
"Hold your horses!" Dustin huffed, adjusting the wheel to find the signal.
"Drive!" Wendy snapped.
"I don't know where!" Steve said loudly. "Dustin doesn't have a–"
"Northwest!" Wendy matched his volume. "Step on it!"
"She's right, go!" Dustin confirmed.
Steve put the car in drive, following after the demogorgon through the tracker.
