Jiyoo was not the slightest happy over the stitches. A scar was definitely going to form once the cut had healed completely. It angered her a lot and she had sworn to make Kris pay for it. Ahri had cried herself to sleep that night. She'd been begging for Jinkyung and her father to help them out. Though, they hadn't answered any of the nine calls or the countless of messages Jiyoo had sent their father. It was unusual for the older man to never contact her back, a few days could pass by but as many as there were now. Over two weeks had gone by without her getting a single word from neither of the two adults. To bring Ahri with her to school was a definite no. It wouldn't work.
Luckily had Zelo been nice enough to let them stay the night at his place. The younger boy's parents were apparently out of the country, too. He'd told Jiyoo that his parents were barely home at all, the company they owned received more attention than him. But the boy weren't sad for that. The compensation he had got from the two of them weighed up for it. Zelo could do about anything he wanted, plus, he had quite the amount on his credit card, which the boy could use like he wanted to.
"Noona, do you want to play video games with me?" it was already late in the evening and Zelo had, much to Jiyoo's irritation, eaten a whole package of various candy. The younger boy was therefore quite high on the sugar rush. "Noona come on, Ahri feel asleep already." really, she hadn't taken any notice of that. Maybe that's why it became slightly more quiet. "I'm not really into all those violent games you have, so, no." Jiyoo wondered why most boys seemed to love all those war games where you only killed the characters.
"Hm, I think I got a Pokemon game that we could play." he exclaimed loud and clear, something that caused the girl to slap a hand over his mouth, "no need to be so damn loud, I'm not deaf." to wake up the sleeping child was rather stupid, especially since she would be impossible to put to bed later. Zelo only grinned, unfazed by the outburst from his noona. "Keep quiet and I will play the game with you, but only Pokemon." it was with a foolish smile that Jiyoo watched the boy dart off.
It was times like those that the girl remembered how old he actually was. Zelo was, unlike her, a child. It was probably that exact moment it truly downed on her. The two of them couldn't be more than friends. The kisses and the near-sex-experiences had all been amazing. Though, it had to stop there.
"Let's play." with the game in his hand did he appear in front of her again. Jiyoo was getting a tad frustrated at his bounciness. Zelo couldn't keep still for a single second and it was making her slightly bothered. "It's a mystery to how your parents can let you eat sugar." the girl muttered under her breath as Zelo began to fix with the TV and the game console.
Jiyoo had, somewhere between that she'd settled herself on the couch and whilst waiting, placed a hand against her cheek. It was still covered up by a compress that shielded the stitches from any bacteria. A low whimper rolled off her tongue when she accidentally pressed her palm too hard against the wound. "Noona, you okay?" the boy had heard the vague sound and was instantly interested to what was happening. "I'm fine." Jiyoo had already managed to withdraw her hand when the boy turned to look at her. He'd already been worried enough. The younger boy had even told her to never do something like that ever again. That was a request she was not going to follow. How could she just stand at the side and watch, it wasn't like Jiyoo to do such a thing.
Zelo handed her a console when placing himself down on the couch, the space between the two of them were nearly non-existent. His bare arm would make contact with hers every time he or she moved. The boy was far more serious in his tactics and strategies than she was. "I'm going to steal your Pokemon." he laughed aloud and Jiyoo sent her elbow crashing into his ribcage, not hard, but enough for him to lose concentration and for her Pokemon to escape. The thing that seemed to have upset Zelo the most was his chance to take her character, not the pain in his side. It was just a game, it couldn't be that he was taking it that serious?
"It's a game, not life and death." the girl was shocked when seeing him shake his head, "I must win." okay then. Jiyoo had no interest in winning. Everything in life wasn't always about coming first. Enjoying it was more important. Silence followed and none of the two spoke a word. The game had stolen both of their attention and the more Jiyoo played the more she wanted to win. It To play video games were something rare for her.
They played throughout the evening and it took them several hours to grow tired. It wasn't until the clock had hit past 12AM that they decided to call it night. Well, night and night. Zelo was hungry and wanted more food in his stomach before going to bed. "Prepare food, please." he threw himself at Jiyoo, with puppy eyes and all. Confused would probably be the best word that described her feelings that second. Never before had Zelo acted like that in front of her. Candy did really need a new stamp, "Turns even the most composed person crazy." The effects of sugar was sometimes quite scary. Plus,Zelo wasn't exactly known for his calm personality. He didn't need such stuff to keep going.
"Ramyun, ramyun -." he continued to chant that over and over again until Jiyoo shut him up. She silenced him with her lips, and that despite the earlier thoughts about them being nothing more than friends. Zelo couldn't help but to feel satisfied as the kiss grew into a make-out session, with tongue and all. It was more than he could've hoped for and his hands soon found themselves travel down the girl's body. He could simply not restrain himself. "Z-zelo." Jiyoo had, in haste, pushed herself away. Her heart was beating frenetically, it was happening too fast.
The breakup with Yongguk was still a matter that troubled her and Jiyoo couldn't move on that easily. He occupied a huge part of her heart and feelings like that didn't just disappear. It would take time. "We should sleep, there's school tomorrow." it was the lamest excuse she could come up with. But it was nonetheless true. The both of them had school the coming day and Jiyoo had to drop Ahri off at the kindergarten before. The girl hurried over to the guest bedroom that Zelo had so nicely let them use. Her sister was already in slumberland when she shut the door close. How was she going to let him know that they couldn't get together?
A deep sigh slipped from her lips as she slumped down on the floor, next to one of the bags they'd brought from the house. Out of pure curiosity did she dive her hands into the bag, Jiyoo was searching for the bundle with pictures. She could never get enough of looking at the ones with her mother. Though, she soon discovered that there were far more pictures than she'd thought. Some were even of people that the girl had no idea of who they were. Most, if not all names written at the back of the pictures, were unfamiliar.
Well, that was before she spotted a photo of her own family along with another one. Jiyoo was just a baby resting in the embrace of her mother. The names didn't ring a bell thought, not until she saw Jung Daehyun. It was a name that immediately sparked interest, especially since Daehyun was the name of the blond freak. But it couldn't be him. They'd never met each other before. Not that she could remember at least. No, it didn't make any sense what so ever. However, Jiyoo began to doubt her own memory the more she thought about it.
"Why does it feel like everyone knows something that I don't?"
