The sight of her father's car caused anger to build up. Jiyoo had strictly told him to never show up at the apartment she shared with Yongguk. That was something the girl had made clear since she didn't want him near her boyfriend. God, she didn't feel like talking to her father at all. Quickening her phase she hurried over to the car. It was empty and that could only mean one thing, he'd gone up to the apartment. Yongguk couldn't be home because he would've called or sent a text to inform Jiyoo about her father's sudden appearance at their doorstep. Turning on her heel the girl headed back in the direction of where she came from. She didn't feel the slightest need to talk to her father. If he needed to speak then he could call.
Jiyoo had no idea how long her father was going to wait, therefore did she have to come up with something to do. Immediately did the girl begin to roam around in her bag after some money. Due to have not eaten when it was lunch Jiyoo was dead hungry. Her stomach and body were craving for food. Much to her dismay did her search for cash result in nothing. She didn't even have enough to buy a banana milk, how sad wasn't that.
Her payment wouldn't show on her account until next week, something that gave the girl two choices. Either she could head back home, or endure it. Jiyoo didn't even need to answer that question as she continued to walk down the street, away from the apartment. Another question popped up in her head though, where was Yongguk and what was he doing? The older boy would never be out at that time of the day. She shrugged her shoulders, maybe he was just out meeting some friends.
She stared ahead, what could she possible do without any sort of money?Jiyoo tapped her index-finger against her chin. After a minute or so of thinking did an idea flash inside her head, there was a park close by. Well, it was actually more of a playground for children but who cares. All Jiyoo really needed was a swing and then her iPod to be satisfied. She was happy, even for the slightest things in life.
The ten minute walk to the children's playground was filled with music blasting through her earphones. Yongguk had quite the impact on her choice of music. There was a lot of hip-hop music and rap included in her list of songs. Not that the girl minded. In fact, some of her favorite artists were 1TYM, Outsider and Crucial Star. Unfortunately had there been a long time since she went to see her boyfriend perform. School and work had always come in the way.
Jiyoo passed by a bakery on her way and the aroma of freshly baked sweets caused her mouth to water. Much to her disappointment could she only pass by. She would never steal. The girl would never be that stupid. Her stomach rumbled in dissatisfactory the second the bakery was out off sight. It was probably scolding Jiyoo for not buying anything.
"Don't worry, I'm going to feed you later." she spoke whilst running a hand over her stomach. Ugh, what was she thinking, talking to herself like that. Jiyoo snapped her gaze in every other direction, the last thing she wanted was for someone to have heard. Students at Jawoon would probably laugh if they found out how silly the girl could be.
A body did all of a sudden crash right into her, something that caused Jiyoo to stumble backwards. Though, a hand caught onto her arm before she managed to land flat on her ass. The girl let out a low gasp, both in surprise and fright. "You should be more careful." her gaze rose and she found herself stare right into the eyes of the other person. Jiyoo blinked, one, two, three times when she saw his blond hair. Was it some new trend, blond hair?
"Are you alright?" the boy stared down, his curious eyes roamed the girl's face. But the one thing that definitely caught his attention was the fiery red hair-color. He couldn't remember that he'd ever seen such a hairdo before. Jiyoo had only seen the boy's lips move, but due to the earphones couldn't she hear what he said. Clearing her throat she pushed herself away. The girl bit down on her lower lip whilst pulling out one of the earphones. "What?" Jiyoo tried to remain calm and composed, and that despite the fact that her stomach was causing an uproar within.
