Yongguk had kept his promise about making it up to her. The following night had he brought home pizza to celebrate that he'd won the music competition. The prize had been two-hundred thousand won. Money that they would use wisely. Though, after Sunday came Monday and another school week. Jiyoo wasn't that thrilled, especially since she was uncertain about that Chinese boy. He might've given her a new iPod, but the girl didn't want to give him any sort of ideas. She had Yongguk and didn't need another boy to try and win her over.

She was still in the hallway when the bell rang. Students rushed passed to get to class, everyone except her. The commotion did soon enough die out and it became rather quiet. A few voices could be heard further down the hall, at the teachers room, and Jiyoo couldn't brace herself from sneaking up and pressing her ear towards the door. It was quite clear that the sound came from a rather upset teacher. "There are rumours going around that you've been socializing with people at an illegal nightclub." wow, illegal nightclub. That truly sparked her interest to continue listening.

What confused her though was that the student in question didn't even reply to the accusations. "I'll take your silence as a confession." the teacher ranted on and there was still no answer what so ever. Jiyoo smirked, the student was probably going to get expelled. "You're lucky that your grades are in the top three of the school, or else you would've been expelled. Instead of that you'll receive detention for a whole month." awh, and there she was all hyped about a student getting expelled and all that for nothing. How disappointing. Jiyoo was so into her own little world of thoughts that she didn't hear the footsteps that were hastily approaching the door.

The girl lost her balance and fell back the second the door was opened. Never in her wildest dreams could she have guessed that the troubled student was none other than that blond freak. Jiyoo did nearly crack up laughing. Him, at an illegal nightclub. Yeah right. How possible was that? The boy didn't even talk so how the hell could he socialize with people. The blondie stared down at her, his intense gaze piercing into hers and he looked shocked for a split second.

"Moon Jiyoo, I see you're keeping up with that habit of spying on other people's conversations." ah, crap. She rolled her eyes as the bald and old math teacher stepped out and made eye-contact with her. The girl had wished to escape without getting caught. Unfortunately was that too late. Licking her bottom lip Jiyoo stole a quick glance at the blond freak before shifting her attention back to the grumpy man. "What can I say, habits are hard to break. Don't you agree?" she let a small smirk grow on her lips. Jiyoo knew very well about the cigarette packages the older teacher stored in his desk, and that despite the fact that it was against the school rules to smoke within school grounds.

"Jiyoo, didn't the principal strictly tell you to dye your hair back. Why haven't you done so?" she yawned whilst shrugging her shoulders, "because I like it, why, doesn't the red color fit me?" she joked but the older man was not pleased, "You'll get detention for every day you keep that hair. So, starting from today you have detention until you dye your hair back." that wasn't fair, how could that blond freak keep his when she couldn't.

"What about him then, his hair-color is also against the rules." it was with irritation that she glared up on the teacher. "Erh, Daehyun sshi has a reason." Jiyoo's lips drew into a thin line, it almost looked like the old man was scared of the blond freak. "What reason?" she shifted her attention towards the boy. He was staring at her with a blank expression on his face. Why wasn't he answering?

"Daehyun sshi, please return to your class." what the fuck was going on here. The teacher looked terrified by the mere presence of that boy, and the said boy himself wouldn't even answer her question. "Daehyun sshi, go." the old man's voice was stern, yet calm and composed. "No, answer my question. Why is he allowed to have his blond hair when I can't keep mine?" Jiyoo was not going to back down until she got a reply. It wouldn't be fair if a teacher played favorite with his students.

"Will you stop with that." no, she was not going to stop, something was obviously going on and the girl wanted to know what. "Why, does his parents pay the school, is that why he can keep his blond hair?" it wouldn't exactly be the first time that happened. "JIYOO." she jumped, startled by the sudden outburst from the teacher. Maybe she wasn't that far from the truth after all. Much to her disappointment though did the boy suddenly turn on his heel and head down the hallway.

The teacher felt immensely relieved when Daehyun left. He didn't want the girl to snoop around in business she had nothing to do with. Consequences would occur if it became public who Daehyun's parents were, and that was something the old man and the principal knew. Therefore did the school board keep that information hidden from the other students and their families.

Fuck.

Jiyoo's curiosity got the better of her and she was soon up on her feet's. "Jiyoo, stay away from that boy." such a stupid thing to say as that only sparked her interest even more. "I've never listened to you before and I'm definitely not going to start either." with that said did she dash down the hallway, in the direction of where the boy had disappeared to. He'd gotten quite the head start. An advantage that caused her to fail in her search for the blond freak. He had most definitely already made it to class. Though, it was not over. Jiyoo was determined to take him down with her. If she was forced to dye her hair, then she was going to make sure that he, too, needed to dye his hair. It was only fair.

The girl heaved a deep sigh. Jiyoo had to get to class before she was given another day of detention. Not that it really mattered that much, especially since she would get detention for each day she went to school with her red hair.

But just as she was about to turn and leave did the door to the classroom next to her slid open. It wasn't the blondie, which she'd hoped, that stepped out. No, it was that China dude. He was looking straight at her and she awkwardly cleared her throat. Jiyoo was unsure to what his real motive was. He'd gone from intimidating the girl to confusing her, something that made no sense. And then there was that fucking language barrier that constantly irritated Jiyoo.

Tao blinked, slightly confused to why that girl was standing there, outside his homeroom. Well, she looked somewhat taken aback by his sudden appearance, an ordeal that made him wonder. His gaze flickered to her hair. He couldn't explain why, but he liked it. The girl's red hairdo. It's fiery color fit quite well with her personality.

The boy parted his lips, he was going to try out some new words that he'd learned over the weekend, "iPod, it works good?" he didn't know whether he'd build up the sentence right or not. The girl simply stared at him and he guessed that she couldn't understand. Tao groaned. He was uncertain to how he was going to get her to understand. "iPod, work." the boy placed his hands over his ears, and that before he swayed his head to the side. Something clicked inside Jiyoo's head after a few seconds. The iPod, right. In a swift motion did she pull it out from the pocket of her blazer. Tao glanced down on the small device. He felt relieved at the fact that she was using it. It eased his consciousness a bit.

"Moon Jiyoo, didn't I just tell you to return to class, not mingle in the hallway." she sighed inwardly. That fucking math teacher would never leave her alone. He seemed to be lurking around every damn corner, ready to pop out whenever Jiyoo did anything wrong. "I'm leaving then." she glanced over at the China boy, her head was tilted to the side as she gave him a small smirk.
