"You're awake." Yongguk seemed surprised when she followed after him in to the kitchen. "Mm, I needed to talk to you that's why." the girl carefully closed the kitchen door so that they wouldn't disturb the sleeping kid. It'd been a long day and Ahri deserved all the sleep she could get. "About what?" the boy did somewhat already know what she wanted, yet he voiced out the question. "You probably know already. Why are you never home, and why do you ignore me?Did you find someone else?" it hurt her a lot to say that. Jiyoo wished that it wouldn't be true. Still, she wanted to hear the truth, not a lie. It was better that way. Plus,Jiyoo hated when people lied to her. The girl would rather take the painful truth over a lie that was fake.
Yongguk took a few steps forward and was just about to wrap his arms around his girlfriend when she backed away, "Don't do that. Don't try and get away from answering. I want to hear it, now." Her voice did almost crack at the end of the sentence. Jiyoo's heart was violently beating against her ribcage. It was waiting for the reply as well. It, too, wanted to know whether it was going to stay intact or break apart.
"I'm not cheating if that's what you think." To say that he was offended by her remark wouldn't be a lie. But then again could he sort of understand her and why she was being worried. "Then what are you doing?I'm not going to buy that you're spending all your time down at High and Low." She swatted his hand away when tried to reach for her. Jiyoo was not going to let the subject slip away that easily. The girl wanted answers and she was going to pursue him until she heard them.
His lips drew into a thin line; it couldn't be that someone had told Jiyoo about what he was doing. No, that could not be the case as no one knew about her being his girlfriend. Yongguk quickly brushed that away. There was no chance in the world that Jiyoo knew about his activities in the Seoul gang. It was something the boy was going to keep to himself as well. Jiyoo would be pissed if she were to know where the money he earned came from.
In fact, it'd been some time since he last won any money at the competitions he entered, mainly because of that duo. The pair won every single time they participated, and it was something that'd begun to irritate him a lot. Fuck, one of them was just a middle school student for fucking sake.
"Okay, I lied. I'm not down at High and Low all the time. I'm actually spending a lot of time at a real studio. There's a company who are thinking about signing me. I didn't want to tell you before the contract were signed." Yongguk lied his girlfriend right in the face and she had no idea. The real truth would be too hard to handle, even for Jiyoo. Sometimes you had to do unpleasant things in order to survive, and the gang was unfortunately one of those resolutions. They needed the money to get around.
"Really, that's great." The girl's mood changed hundred eighty degrees as she enthusiastically threw her arms around him. Jiyoo felt immensely proud over her boyfriend. He was about the get a record deal. How cool wasn't that, especially since she knew how important that was for Yongguk. He'd dreamed about that for as long as she could remember. The girl tilted her head so that she could look up at him, "we should celebrate this."
Yongguk smiled, it was a sad smile that showed how he truly felt. The boy was not the slightest proud over himself. He'd lied to the person he loved more than anyone else. The only thing that kept him from spilling the truth was the fact that Jiyoo would live better now. She did no longer have to skip lunch at school because they couldn't afford it. Nor would she have to think about the economy all the time. The danger he was putting the two girls in were, on the contrary, not something that'd crossed Yongguk's mind.
The girl pulled at her boyfriend's shirt, thus exposing his well build torso. Jiyoo licked her bottom lip before speaking; "We need to be quiet so we don't wake Ahri up." Yongguk was just about to protest when she leaned in and attached her mouth to his skin. The way her tongue worked up his abdomen towards his chest was an instant turn-on. The boy hissed aloud when feeling how Jiyoo palmed his growing member.
