Elizabeth's POV

We were parked on the front porch of my family home as Divya began to panic.

"Love, at some point we are going to have yo go in." I told her as carefully as I could. "My mom already knows you Div, it's going to be fine."

"Yeah well is definitely not the same now, is it?" Divya snapped at me making my widen—even her own at the realization. "Sorry, I'm just stressed and freaking out, your mom was nice I know, but is different now. I'm your girlfriend now and I care about what your parents think of me."

I scooted closer to her and grabbed her hands. "I know is nerve wrecking, but I'll be with you the whole way and like I've said before, my mom adores you and my dad is excited to meet you. Everything is going to be fine, please trust me."

Divya sighed and nodded, "I trust you... fine let's go."

I opened the door of the car and said my thanks to the driver—I helped Divya out of the car and as soon as we stepped out workers came out of the house to help us with our bags. Of course my mom was watching from inside waiting for us.

"Good evening ms. Elizabeth." Franklyn came to greet me as others made their way inside the house with our baggage. He was, our butler to put it simply, but he was more like family now—he had seen me grow and took care of me when I was child and my parents would leave me with nannies I could not stand.

"Franklyn!" I hugged him and quickly moved to present Divya to him. "Divya this is Frank, he's worked for my family since I can remember. Franklyn this is my girlfriend, Divya." I couldn't contain the smile on my face every time I called her my girlfriend.

I really could not be happier.

"Nice to meet you." Divya extended her hand towards him.

"Pleasure is all mine young lady." He responded with his thin lined smile—the wrinkles on the corner of his eyes prominent as they shook hands. "Elizabeth, your mother is waiting for you two inside."

"Of course she is. Let's not keep her waiting any longer then." I intertwined my hand with Divya's and squeezed her's in reassurance as we entered the old manor. "I'm right here with you, love, is going to be alright." I whispered in her ear and kissed the side of her head.

Divya looked at me with a small smile before looking up front—my mother was standing on the living room with a big smile on her face as she waited for us.

"Girls!" She exclaimed coming our way—her arms opened and she went to greet Divya first. "Divya, it is good to see you again." Mom brought her into an embrace and then kissed both her cheeks.

"I feel the same mrs. Sinclair— I mean Aleyna." Divya quickly corrected herself when she saw the look my mother gave her.

"Mum." I greeted her the same way—I missed her even though I saw her five months ago back when she surprised us in Chicago. I didn't have any time for visiting when I came to London for business a while ago. "I've missed you."

"I have missed you too darling." She rubbed my back before stepping back from the hug. "Your father will come by later, he had a polo game to attend to today. So why don't you two go get settled in your room? While I wait outside in the garden and you two meet me to drink some tea."

"It will be our pleasure." Divya went ahead and responded before I did—earning a sweet smile from my mom.

"Alright then. If you excuse us." I said and began guiding Divya upstairs to my old room—which was far on the east side of the house and it was moments like this I thanked the heavens for that, this way no one will be able hear to Divya and I tonight.
