Kaleigh quickly ducked behind one of the crashed cars and aimed her rifle at one of the windows of the restaurant while Liam and Nate dashed to the walls on the side of the entrance, gripping their clubs tightly. Derek sneaked into the building through a window and hid behind a desk, gripping his knife tightly. The sound came once more, it sounded like a thunder strike hitting a pan, which slightly terrified Kaleigh more than the others. She stayed brave, didn't flinch, firmed her footing and precised her aim at the windows, rapidly looking back and forth to see if any movement would occur, covering Derek as he moved from cover to cover in the restaurant, behind eating tables and desks. Suddenly a door slightly opened, squeaking mysteriously as a shadow came from behind it, looking like a person.
Kaleigh was about to legitimately cry but being the Taurus that she was she aimed her rifle at the shadow and erased all thought from her mind, focusing on the target. Without a moment's notice, the door bashed down and out came a rogue agent, in a dark navy blue hoodie and black cargo pants, with a scarf that covered his bottom half of his face and pitch black shoes, opening fire on Derek with an AK-47 who was still hiding behind a desk, ducking as low as much as he could, trying to flank the agent but requiring help. Nate jumped into a window, first smashing it with his metal club, and charged at the rogue aiming for his stomach, performing a forward strike, as the rogue agent dodged it and rolled on the one of the tables, landing back on his feet to shoot Nate in the back until Liam dived in and smacked the agent in the head from behind, as he'd been sneaking in this entire time. The agent was stunned for a moment giving Kaleigh time to fire, but Derek had different plans and they crossed each other. Kaleigh readied herself, aimed, and fired, but Derek was planning on charging at the agent with his knife to slit his throat, but to do that he had to get in front of the agent, meaning his back turned to Kaleigh who was aiming at the window. He charged while Kaleigh's bullet was racing in his direction, and before he/she knew it, it hit him in the shoulder. Derek fell to the ground instantly, but only to knee level. Kaleigh gasped at what she just did. She turned around and sat behind cover, covering her mouth as Nate and Liam exchanged terrified glances. They both turned their fear into anger and started unleashing devastating blows on the agent, knocking him out cold and probably giving him a few broken ribs. Nate wouldn't stop hitting the agent but Liam didn't try and pull him away, as he ran to Derek instantly. He knew what he had to do. He lifted Derek up and let him lean on his shoulder, putting his arm around him, and sitting him in a chair. He took bandages from his satchel, helped Derek take off his shirt and immediately began wrapping it around his shoulder, which was gushing out blood that stained on his rock hard abs. Liam tried to joke around and said, "This is for taking my jacket, now you've no shirt," he said smiling, but Derek couldn't manage a smile so he only grit his teeth. Kaleigh saw Liam catering to Derek's needs so she assumed the rogue agent had been dealt with, and without hesitation, she holstered her rifle in anger as if it was the rifle's fault and ran to Derek. Nate was STILL beating on the rogue agent in anger, no one knew what urged him to do it, but again, probably the same feeling that Derek got when he shot his first bullet. Liam cut the last strip of bandage off and put the rest in his satchel, taking out his first aid kit and applying ointment on top of the bandages, letting it seep in. It stung like a thousand bees, make that wasps, but it was the only way to heal, so Derek grunted and groaned in anger, but mostly pain, and then a sense of calmness and relaxation overcame him as the ointment did it's job. Liam put everything back in his first aid kit, putting the kit in his satchel and watching Kaleigh, face covered in tears racing to Derek like at a running marathon. She immediately went to hug him, making sure not to touch his shoulder, as Derek began to faint.
