In the darkest depths of the Earth, under the hardened, melted bedrock, through the fiery hellstone, passed Earth's flaming hot core, beneath the dirty soil, there might have been some pretty disturbing things, but none of them compared to the beast that the CPG had witnessed. There were no acceptions for how utterly disgusting this being looked, tentacles shooting out of it's back and tentacles for hands as well. Millions of suction cups engulfed the corrupted, giving it the name the Squid. You might've noticed that these corrupteds are all different, but also all the same. They want the same thing, and they struggle to live for the same purpose, just like humans. Though they believe humans get in their way. At least, that is a theory, a rumor that travels among Blackwell and many other infected zones. The Squid was about eight foot, and hand to bend over completely to get through doors, or just bash them down, including some of the wall, which is what this Squid did. Kaleigh quickly ducked under a table and blindly aimed fire on the Squid, killing thousands of suction cups on it. The only way to kill a beast such as this was to shoot or cut off all of it's tentacles. The beast was coming for Nate, who swung his metal club so hard it fell out of his hands, but the Squid caught it with one of his tentacles and started charging at him with it. Nate put his hands over his head and screamed, preparing to be struck down, until Derek swooped in and cut one of the tentacles off the creature from behind. A loud gushing sound came out of where the tentacle used to be, like water from a sink faucet. Green blood gushed all over the floor and the cut tentacle squirmed like a worm. Disgusting. The beast groaned in pain and turned to Derek who was standing up straight, guilty with his khakri knife in his hand. Not to mention, the blood smelled horrible. The Squid charged at Derek, reaching for him with his tentacles while Kaleigh was about to shoot until she saw Liam dive in. She made sure not to make the same mistake again and held her fire while Liam bashed the Squid in the back of the head with his club. Inconveniently, the club broke in half, as the Squid had a much harder skull than other corrupted. Liam widened his eyes, "Not this again," he whispered as he ran for his life and the Squid turned around, moaning and groaning, chasing him. Kaleigh somehow made her rifle sound like a machine gun; she was shooting so fast. Suction cups draped the entire floor and green blood painted itself on the walls. Tentacles flew everywhere and the group tried to manage not getting hit by them. Kaleigh found an opening in the Squid and took a shot, it was a headshot and it hit, but the Squid simply brushed it off and gave Kaleigh an angry look. Never before did someone survive a headshot by Kaleigh, so Kaleigh was terrified, but she stood ground. The Squid ran to Kaleigh as all three of the men, Liam, Nate, and Derek, yelled, "NO!" and charged at the Squid. Liam jumped onto the Squid's back, trying to rip off tentacles with his bare hands, while Derek cut the tentacles quickly, dodging the Squid's ferocious attacks. Nate's metal club also eventually broke after hitting the Squid in the ribs, and he started becoming just as desperate as Liam, ripping tentacles with his bare hands. Kaleigh, being the badass she apparently is, stopped being afraid and charged at the Squid with her rifle, smashing the butt of her rifle into the Squid's nose, being so tall she had to leap up as she did, using a table as a stool. The Squid fell over instantly and was exposed to the group as they tore the Squid apart like he was candy from a pinata. After a while, the Squid could be no longer considered alive or breathing, and the fire station was a mess. Luckily, no one got hurt.
