There were benches that aligned on both sides, left and right, like a Church, while filled bookshelves followed them. A purple rug covered the path that was paved from the benches, that led to a desk where the owner probably sat. On the desk was a broken computer, a picture frame with a girl and a guy in it, and an apple. A rotten apple. Liam gave the rotten apple a nasty look and hit it off the table with his metal club. That might have been unnecessary but he really wanted to hit something. Nate loved reading books and going to the library as a kid, particularly the Blackwell Library. That's where most of his memories were stored. Nate scanned the books of the room, found ones like "How To Never Lose An Argument For Dummies" and "The Beauty of Melee Weapons For Nerds." Nate chose "Fifty Shades of Grey," sat down on a bench, and began reading. Meanwhile, Kaleigh got her wish because Derek found a rifle hidden underneath wooden crates behind one of the book shelves. Kaleigh looked at the picture frame, it was Ms. Matthews, Kaleigh's old English teacher sitting next to Mr. Weeby, her Librarian. Apparently they were a couple, because the photo had a heart scratched into it. Kaleigh never knew this, so she pondered at the photo for a minute or two, and was about to set it back down until she put it in one of her pockets on her utility belt and made sure no one was looking. Moments later Derek arrived to Kaleigh with a present. He handed her the rifle and she thanked him. She aimed it at one of the bookshelves and started putting the sniper ammunition inside. She put it on her back which had a shotgun holder attached to her utility belt. Liam and Nate complimented the rifle as they went back to their activities. Liam would take books he didn't care about and set them on a bench, and hit them like they were golf balls. It was a way for him to get rid of stress and anger that the other three gave him. All four of the group started getting flashbacks of happy memories, hanging out after lunch, sitting back in beanbags, reading a book, eating an apple, it was all coming back. Although all good things come to an end, because suddenly, a loud hiss came from the exit of the Blackwell Library.
