"No Harry you have to let me speak to her"

"Ron come on mate leave it for now"

Hermione woke up to those voices wondering what on earth was going on. She could make out the voices clearly and was surprised to hear Ronald's.

"Wait one second I'm coming out both of you"
Shouted Hermione hoping it had gone through the thick brick walls. It clearly had because silence fell upon them all.
Hermione quickly put a pair of jeans a top and grabbed a jumper then brushed her teeth and went to open the door just as Ronald was entering.

"What in the name of magic are you doing Ronald?"
Ron instantly felt his anger brush of once hearing Hermione talk. It was a bit strange the way Ronald was acting about Hermione it was nothing like the Ronald she had known her whole Hogwarts life.

"I , I couldn't bare to not speak to you any longer Hermione we need to bloody talk and you know it's about time"

Hermione couldn't deny that this talk was over due but she didn't want it now ,she had to many thoughts and questions about Draco to even be concentrating on Ronald.

"Yes ehm let me get ready and I'll meet you down in the hall ,wait there for me"

Ronald nodded in agreement to this gesture and didn't argue back. He rushed downstairs waiting anxiously to see what would happen between the two.

Hermione felt queezy at the thought of being alone with Ronald. She prepared herself in front of the mirror

"Look Ronald I can't do this anymore it hasn't been the same I ... I am not in love with you , I just love you as a friend and I'm sorry but I can't be with you in a relationship way and if you're ready to be friends I'll be more then happy to"

She took a deep breath in and was ready to be faced with Ronald. She knew it wouldn't be easy but then again in her world nothing ever seemed to be.

She walked out of the dormitory taking in deep breaths and tried to keep herself as tranquil as possible , she had never done anything like this before , breaking up with a boy and even having a boyfriend.

Ronald caught a glimpse of her from the stairs and ran up to her like a dog who hasn't seen their owner for months , Hermione found this extremely abnormal and her immediate reaction was putting her hand near her wand
What on earth are you doing? you know he will never hurt you stop being so stupid.
She freed her hand from the wand and tucked her hair behind her ear. As the two walked past she caught a sight of electric blonde hair and looked , it was of course Draco. Hermione saw Pansy practically sticking her tongue down his throat and was disgusted. If she hadn't lost her appetite from the way Ronald was creeping after her she has definitely lost it now.

Ronald led Hermione to the lake and sat her down to talk and before he could say or do something stupid again Hermione spoke.

"Ronald look we both know things haven't been the same and that we have been distant lately but the true reason behind it all is because I just I don't feel the same , I - I love you as a friend I'm not in love with you there's the difference , and of course if you're not ready to be friends I understand but when you are ready I'll be more then happy to"

Ronald had hope to fix the problem when he came to see Hermione but that light of hope he had now faded into the nothing. A simple nothingness.

"Hermione I'll I'll I will I"

Ronald couldn't put words together and stayed silent.

"Look Hermione I'm still in love with you the way I was when we first met and everyday since , give me a chance ,please look I'll make up for what I did in the library ,please give me another chance so I can so I can ... Bloody hell ... so I can make you love me again" pleaded Ron in desperation.
