That's bully abuse!

Merida POV

I was walking through the halls with my best friends Jack and Rapunzel when a firm hand grips my shoulder and spins me around. Astrid, my bully, and her gang stand in front of me, glaring at me as if I am their prey - which I probably am.

"What do you want Astrid!" I hiss, gritting my teeth.

"Hmmm," she says taking one hand off my shoulder but keeping a firm grip on my other one. "I don't know, maybe Fishlegs remembers." she says indicating to the fat guy of their gang.

"Yes indeed I remember," he says smirking at me, "we were just going to beat up the three geeks and steal their glasses." I feel Astrid's grip tighten again on my shoulders before being slammed into the lockers behind me. On either side of me I see Snotlout pinning Jack to the lockers and Ruffnut doing the same to Rapunzel.

"Let go of me!" I yell, tossing and turning to slide out of her grip. I was unsuccessful.

"And why should I do that?" Astrid smirked at me.

I open my mouth to say something but Jack cuts in before I can. "Why don't you pick on someone else?" he asks "what about the kid down there?" He indicates to his left by nodding.

The gang looks in his direction as do I. A boy, not much taller than me, with wonky glasses and a leg in a bandage is walking cautiously down the corridor. It's hard to make out who he is as my vision has gone slightly blurry. He holds a pile of books to his chest and looks at his shoes as he walks. Astrid heaves an irritated sigh.

"Very well." she says. Her grip leaves my shoulders as me, Rapunzel and Jack slump on the floor. "But don't think we're not gonna beat you up after him!" And with that, they make their way to the boy.

I rub my eyes to prevent my vision from being blurry and turn my attention back to the boy. Oh no! I think to myself. "You idiot Jack!" I yell at him punching him hard in the arm.

"Ow!" he complains.

"That's Hic you idiot!" I shout at him, gesturing to the gang's next victim.

His face immediately drops "oops," he says "my bad."

"We have to do something," Rapunzel announces, panicking.

"There's no time to think! Just do!" I order. They both nod quickly before getting up and racing towards the gang. I felt a strength inside me I'd never felt before that made me feel powerful compared to the populars.

Without thinking, I grab Astrid forcefully by the shoulders and pin her against the wall. Jack and Rapunzel do the same to Ruffnut and Snotlout. Tuffnut and Fishlegs pause for a moment before heading back in the direction of Hiccup. I glance at Jack who nods. We slip our feet behind us causing Tuffnut and Fishlegs to topple over.

They try to get up but someone stands on their hands. I look up to see Hiccup keeping the two bullies on the floor as we all smile triumphantly at each other. However, that moment ended when a strict voice bellows down the corridor "Merida DunBroch! Jack Frost! Rapunzel Corona! Hiccup Haddock!" we turn to see Mr.Hercules striding toward us. "I'm surprised in you! We expect better from you!" I can feel Astrid smiling widely as I loosen my grip on her. "Detention! The four of you!" he says handing us a pink slip of paper and marching off.

"Looks like the goody two shoes have got themselves a detention." Astrid mocks.

"Shut it Astrid," I hiss through gritted teeth. "Come on Hic, Jack, Punz. Lets go."

"Yeah! That's right, run away!" Snotlout yells back at us nervously.

"What exactly did you do to him Jack?" I ask as we get out of their earshot.
