A/n It's my first Wattpad birthday today and I decided to give you a special one-shot as I am aware I haven't updated in a while. Enjoy!

"He's finally coming home!" Rapunzel screams entering her house with a wide grin. "I can't believe he's coming back!"

"Calm down lass," Merida, Rapunzel's best friend, chuckles, "It's only been a month."

Rapunzel's brother had visited his God Parents in Scandinavia for what was to be a months long stay. Now he was coming home.

Rapunzel gasps, "And you finally get to meet him! This is so exciting!"

"Well from what Jack's told me about him, I'm not sure I want to meet him," Merida mutters just loud enough for her to hear.

"That's my brother you're talking about! What did you tell her Jack?" She demands whilst turning to Jack, her boyfriend.

"Only that he is charming, artistic and has an obsession with dragons," he replies innocently.

"Enough to put anyone like Merida off," Rapunzel mutters under her breath.

The sound of a car horn arouses from outside.

"He's here!"

The trio join the small group of people outside to see a small black car pull into the drive. Rapunzel pushes her way to the front dragging Merida and Jack behind her.

A figure emerges from the vehicle and is immediately pounced on by Rapunzel. "Hey Punz! Good to see you too!" he says, hugging her back. "I didn't think you'd miss me this much."

Rapunzel turns to the crowd and yells "Hiccup's home!" a series of cheers are heard before the crowd enters the house for the celebration. Merida and Jack stay behind along with Rapunzel and Hiccup.

Meanwhile, Merida stared at the boy in bewilderment. He was handsome, she had to admit. The way his messy, auburn hair fell over his forehead; the sharp shape of his jawline; the freckles dotted across his nose. And those eyes- greener than the valleys of Scotland and deeper than any forest she'd explored; enough to get lost in. Her thoughts were broken when Jack jabbed his elbow into her rib to avoid her embarrassing herself. She smiles sheepishly and mouths a 'thank you' as Hiccup and Rapunzel approach them.

"Hiccup! I don't believe you've met Merida before!" Rapunzel exclaims. "Hiccup, Merida. Merida, Hiccup!"

"Hi," Merida waves awkwardly.

"Hey," Hiccup's hands dig deep into his pockets.

What is she waiting for? Merida thinks suspiciously as she eyes an expectant Rapunzel.

"Let's go get some food!" Jack suggests, dragging Rapunzel back into the house rather quickly. "Just leave them to it," he whispers to his girlfriend "they'll be snogging before you know it."

"So..." Hiccup says in an attempt to start a conversation.

"So..." Merida replies. An awkward silence lingers among the two. "We should probably... er... go inside." She suggests indicating to the door.

"You're right," he stutters and follows her back into the house. He makes his way over to Jack while Merida walks over to Rapunzel.

"What d'you think if her then?" Jack asks with an obvious smirk plastered on his face.

"Think of who?" Hiccup replies innocently.

"Merida of course!"

"Well... she's er..." he stutters.

"Yes...?" Jack presses for an answer.

"She's gorgeous!" he blurts, unable to stop the string of confessions flow from his mouth. "Her hair is perfectly imperfect and frames her face in just the right way! Her bright red curls are to die for! Her blue eyes..." he trails off, in a trance. "Her blue eyes..."

"Wow!" Jack says in amazement "we never knew you'd take a liking to her this soon."

He snaps out of his daydream. "You were setting us up weren't you?"

"Maybe," Jack shrugs. "Punz couldn't stop a girdling over the fact that you would look so cute together. Not my idea."

"I don't mind the idea, if I'm perfectly honest." Hiccup mumbles.

"I'll bring the girls over so you can chat!" Jack says suddenly and rushes over to his girlfriend and friend; much to Hiccup's horror. He stares at his shoes.

"Hey!" Shouts a familiar voice interrupting Hiccup's thoughts, making him rise his head. The girl with the red curls stood in front of him. "Hiccup, right?"

"Yeah. Hiccup Haddock," he extends a hand towards her.

She takes it gladly, a smile on her face. "Merida DunBroch."

Their eyes lock and their cheeks paint a pink blush.

This was going to be the start of an unforgettable relationship.

A/n Sorry. This kinda sucked. I decided to make Rapunzel and Hiccup siblings for once instead of Jack and Merida all the time. What did you think of the outcome?

I'm open to suggestions.
