Merida POV

I flip the top of my laptop in excitement as the usual message appears on the screen:

Hiccup.H@gmail.com would like to Skype.

Of course, I accepted and sat cheerily on my desk chair waiting for the familiar face to pop up on the screen.

"Hey Mer!" I hear his voice before I see his face but there's no doubt about it, that's him!

"Hey Hic!" I greet as his green eyes appear on the screen.

His voice turns to a whisper of sadness "I miss you Mer."

"I miss you too Dragon Boy," he chuckles at the use of our primary school names. "I'd personally come to... wherever you are to see you if it wasn't for my freakin parents."

"It's fine Archer," he says shooting my childhood name at me. "I feel the same. It's the stupid scholarship keeping me here." he sighs.

All of a sudden 3 boys appear on the screen behind Hiccup.

"Jack! Flynn! Kristoff!" I giggle. "Now's not the time!"

"We only came to help our best bud make his future wife happy as can be!" Flynn teases. Both mine and Hiccup's face turn a deep crimson.

Flynn seats himself on a drunk it at the back of Hiccup's room and Jack and Kristoff take up electric guitars. A microphone is tossed at Hiccup as he catches it clumsily, a confused look appearing on his face. I chuckle at his flustering as Flynn clicks his drum sticks together.

"A one! A two! A one two three four!" The three play the intro to a familiar song as Hiccup's face lights up in realisation. He positions the microphone in front of his face and sings.

H: What time is where you a-are?

I giggle and join in.

M: I miss you more than anything.

H: Back at home you feel so far.

M: Waiting for the phone to ring.

H: It's getting lonely living upside down.
I don't even want to be in this town.
Tryn'a figure out the times oh it's making me crazy!
You say good morning, when it's midnight.
Going out of my head alone in this bed.
I wake up to your sunset.
And it's driving me mad I miss you so bad.
And my heart heart heart is so Jet lagged.
Heart heart heart is so Jet lagged. Heart heart heart is so Jet lagged.
It's so Jet lagged.

M: What time is it where you a-are?

H: Five more days an I'll be home.

M: I keep your picture in my car.

H: I hate the thought of you alone.

M: I've been keeping busy all the time. Just to try to get you off my mind.

B: Tryn'a figure out the times oh it's making me crazy.

H: I miss you so bad.

M: I miss you so bad.

H: I miss you so bad.

M: I miss you so bad.

H: I miss you so bad.

M: I want to share your horizon.

H: I miss you so bad.

B: And see the same sun rising.

H: I miss you so bad.

B: And turn the hour hand back to when you were holding me.

H: You say good morning, when it's midnight.

B: Going out of my head alone in this bed.
I wake up to your sunset.
And it's driving me mad I miss when you say good morning, but it's midnight.
Going out of my head alone in this bed.
I wake up, to your sunset.
And it's driving me mad i miss you so bad.
And my heart heart heart is so Jet lagged.
Heart heart heart is so Jet lagged. Heart heart heart is so Jet lagged.
It's so Jet lagged.

H: It's so Jet lagged.
