Merida peered above her 'defence against the dark arts' homework at her two best friends and twin. "Can't we have a break?" she moans in exasperation, slamming her book shut. "We've been studying four hours!"
"I agree!" Jack, Merida's twin brother, agrees, closing his work slowly.
"We need to revise!" Hiccup exclaims. "There is no way I'm failing my exams!" Hiccup was in Ravenclaw house and was constantly stressing over the end of year exams. His friends had gotten used to his need to study but didn't judge him for it... Much.
"Oh come on Hic!" Rapunzel, a fun-loving, high-graded Hufflepuff, complains quietly "I agree with Mer and Jack. We have been studying for a while."
"Loosen up a bit, man! It'll only be a few minutes break then we'll get straight back to our studies." the cheeky Slytherin prankster persuades.
"Please?" Merida pleads, her bright blue eyes widening in a way a dog's would when it's begging. Despite her Gryffindor nature, she could still pull off pretty persuading puppy dog eyes.
"Fine!" Hiccup gives in, his arms flying above his head in defeat, his pencil soaring with it.
"Thank you!" Merida and Jack say in unison, thanking the heavens they had a few minutes free of revision.
The group stands up and makes a beeline toward the doors of the library and out into the vastness of the quidditch field. "Freedom!" Jack yells in excitement, sprinting around like a maniac. Merida giggles at her twin's stupidity.
"How on earth are those two related?" Rapunzel whispers to Hiccup.
"I have absolutely no idea." he chuckles before standing by Merida to watch Jack prancing across the grass.
"Come on Punz!" He yells, still enjoying the fresh air of the great outdoors. "Dance with me!"
She giggles in response and joins him, dancing and prancing across the field. "Remind me who's the oldest out of you two." Hiccup chuckles earning a small smile from Merida.
"He is!" she grins, turning to face him with a mischievous expression. "How about we give the prankster a taste of his own medicine." she suggests, smirking.
"Sounds good to me" he says eagerly.
"Here's what we'll do..." She edges closer to Hiccup's ear to explain her plan. A wide grin spreads across his face.
This should be fun

The Gryffindor and Ravenclaw wait patiently at the door leading to the quidditch field, wands at hand. They were going to cast the 'everlastus dancus' charm on their two friends, which will make them dance forever more until someone breaks the charm.
"Get ready! They're coming!" Merida exclaimed excitedly.
"Ready!" Hiccup whispers in response.
The doors creek open and two figures start walking toward them.
"3...2...1!" Merida mouths. Both jump in front of the figures and cast the charm.
"Everlastus dancus!" they yell.
The two figures start ballroom dancing across the corridor. "I demand to know who's done this!" a familiar voice screeches.
"Break this curse immediately!" a monotone yet angered voice orders. The two youngsters look at one another in horror as the two figures dance into the light.
Professor Dumbledore and Professor Snape twirled around the hallway.
"Run!" The two youngsters run as far away from the scene as possible.
"I can't believe we at the charm on Snape and Dumbledore!" Hiccup gasps.
"Me neither!" Mer admits through heaves of breath "Just find somewhere to hide until another Professor breaks the charm."
He nods his head in agreement as the two charge down the corridor. "In here!" Merida orders, swinging a door open and ushering Hiccup inside. She hurries into the cramped room and shuts the door carefully behind her.
The two look at the space they were in. It was a rather small, cramped cupboard the caretaker used to keep his mops. The only person that could find them was the caretaker himself.
"So I guess we... er... we wait." Hiccup stutters, not comfortable with the little space between them. Heat rose up his neck and into his cheeks causing him to loosen his tie.
"Y-yeah." Merida agrees, clearly as flustered as him.
Several sets of footsteps pass the door, none noticing the two students hidden in the cupboard- much to their relief. However, time didn't eliminate the awkwardness of their current situation.
Hiccup shuffled backwards slightly and trips over a discarded bucket. He crashes backwards landing in a heap if mops and buckets.
Merida whips around "shut up you idiot!" she snaps, leaning down to help him up. However, instead of pulling Hiccup to his feet, she stumbled and fell onto Hiccup within the mass of buckets and brooms. "I-I'm s-s-sorry!" Merida apologises, a deep crimson rising onto her cheeks as she tries to get up.
"No-No It's O-OK" Hiccup stutters as Merida slips and falls back on top of him. The sound of the door handle being both if them to their senses. The look at each other with wide eyes.
The caretaker!
The two scramble around in attempt to get up before the caretaker entered the room. No such luck! The caretaker looked down upon the two with a disgusted expression before grabbing a mop and exiting the room.
"I hope he didn't think..." Hiccup trails off, flushing with embarrassment.
"I hope not," Merida agrees, turning her gaze from the door, back to Hiccup. When she did her nose touched Hiccup's. "I-" She starts before being mesmerised by his forest green eyes.
They both start leaning in and...
