I may die today

I looked back at Ansel but saw Shailene and Arthur besides him this time. Shailene rested her head on Ansel's shoulder and look at me with a sarcastic smile plasted on her face. Arthur looked at me and nodded. I didn't know what he meant but I looked at Ansel. We where looking into each others eyes. I still couldn't find an expression. I looked back at Shawn and saw that slowly his smile was fading away. I didn't know what to say but I also didn't think "No" will be the right answer infront of all those people.
"Yes" I blurted out.Everyone started claping. I didn't know why I had said yes but I did. Shawn's smile grew bigger again , he put the ring in my finger and gave me a hug. I was still in shock with my answer but I tried to look at the good side of things. Shawn loved me and I knew somewhere inside me I did too as much as he did me and he was always there for me. A small smile grew on my face I hugged him back and we headed back to our table. I looked around me looking for Ansel but I didn't see him. But I saw Arthur walking towards our table.
Arthur: " Congratulations you two, you make such a nice couple"
Me: " Thanks, can you please go now" Shawn looked at me with a weird expression. Arthur just laughed and left.
Shawn: " What was that about?"
Me: " I just don't like that man"
Shawn: " wait is he the guy you where telling me about the other day?"
Me: " Yep, but he's gone now so let's not talk about him now please " he had a worried expression in his face but I had to make him think everything was okay now.
Shawn: "Okay then but I just wanna say I love you and it means so much that you said yes"
Me: " Wait a minute, did you get my father's blessing? "
Shawn: " Yep and let me tell you it was the hardest thing I've done, but I let him know that I am gonna take care of his princess"
Me: " That really means alot, my dad is a pretty though guy if I where you I wouldn't have been brave enough"
Shawn: " But I would do anything to be with the one I love" I smiled and saw Ansel walking towards the bathroom.
Me: " Will you excuse me for a minute I need to go to the restroom"
He nodded and I hurried to the bathroom to talk to Ansel. I pulled his arm before he went in the door and pulled him into the girl's restroom and locked the door.
Me: " Hey"
Ansel: " Hey"
Me: " Where have you been?"
Ansel: " I went to visit some family and introduced them to Shailene "
Me: " Oh" we stood there quiet for a couple of seconds.
Ansel: " Congratulations by the way" he said rubbing the back of his neck.
Me: " Ansel I need to tell you something "
Ansel: " What? "
Me: " But please don't be mad at me I didn't know what to do"
Ansel: " Okay"
Me: " Well, Shailene is not pregnant and she slept with your dad" I blurted out i felt bad for not saying in a different way but I just didn't know how.
Ansel: " What?"
Me: " I am sorry i didn't tell you before I tried but I was afraid"
Ansel: " Your kidding right" i just shook my head slowly.
Me: " I am sorry"
Ansel: " your unbelievable Julia"
Me: " What?"
Ansel: " All this time I have been away from you I have been miserable, you knew it was hard for me to accept the fact that I was gonna have to marry Shailene, but instead of telling you left me looking like an idiot"
Me: " I said I am sorry "
Ansel: " Sorry isn't enough, you where just selfish....why is it that you get to be happy but I get to miserable? Why is it that Shawn gets to have you and not me? Why is it that I just can't stop thinking about you? Why is it that no matter what I do I can't stop loving you? Why? But it doesn't matter to you right you just care about yourself no one else...and you are just like Shailene a big liar"
I stood there speechless for a couple of minutes.
Me: " Do you really think I am happy, because I am really not Ansel. Don't you think your being kinda selfish yourself because you don't give a fu*k if your dad hurts me or the ones i love due to the fact that we are together. I couldn't sleep some night's because I taught that any minute he will come in and kill me. I was in a coma because of him and no matter what you do or I do will help us be together because he is way powerful and about Shawn I don't know what to tell you and your right I am just like Shailene but there is one difference i actually loved you. And I am sorry that you can't forget about me but it's probably cause we keep running into each other and we live in the same city but don't worry because since I keep causing you problems I will just move and I will stop causing you problems but just give me till Monday to get everything ready for transfer but after that your life will be problem free. "
Ansel: " I did care and please don't do that"
Me: " sorry but you don't get to choose.....I have to go now" i walked passed him leaving him in the restroom. I walked to the table and put a fake smile on for Shawn not to think anything.
Shawn: " What took you so long beautiful ?"
Me: " There was some people ahead of me....but do you think we can go home I am feeling kinda sick?
Shawn: " Yeah sure do you need to go to the doctor?"
Me: " No I am fine I just need some rest"
