Ready to let go?

After getting to my dorm I pulled a suitcase from the closet and started packing. Tears began to feel my eyes I felt all the emotions starting to get out of me I was mad,sad,depressed just a whole combo of emotions. I jumped to my bed and screamed into a pillow I felt crazy but there was nothing else to do. After crying for about an hour I began packing again. Stacey hadn't come yet which i was glad because i just wanted to be alone. When i finished packing i bought a ticket online to leave tomorrow i wanted to surprise my family one day early and bought another one for Calfornia. But I also just wanted to leave New York i wanted to get away from all my problems. I layed on my bed and watched Saved by the bell on netflix until I fell asleep.
I woke up when I heard my alarm go off it was 4:00 am and saw Stacey sleeping I got up and took a shower and got dressed. I looked at the clock and it was 4:30am the plane would be leaving at 6:00am so i still had time. I left without making any sound to not wake up Stacey but left her a note saying I will be back in a week because I was in California. When I arrived at the airport I bought something to eat and waited. After they said that my plane was leaving I headed to the line that led to the plane i gave the ticket to the lady and headed in. I looked for a seat and then tried to put my suitcase on one the cabins but it was really heavy . But then some hands pushed it up.
"Let me help you with that" i turned around and there was a guy a few inches taller than me he had blond hair and dark green eyes. He was wearing a maroon shirt and black jeans.
Me: " Thank you"
"No problem" I just smiled and sat on the seat by the window.
"Hey can I seat besides you" i just smiled and nodded. He reached to put his suitcase on the cabin and I was able to see his muscles flexing. I couldn't lie he was really hot but no guy will ever be as hot as Ansel. He sat besides me and extended his hand.
"I dont think I have introduced myself, i am Logan Matthews "
Me:" Hi i am Julia Foster"
Logan: " So you are heading to Texas"
Me:"Yup and then I am going to California"
Logan:" No way I am going there too I am just going to go and visit my family and then go and visit some friends in Cal"
Me:" what a coincidence "
Logan:" I am glad to have you as my plane buddy I always get so bored in planes but got to warn you I am really talkative......so do you go to school here in New York"
Me: " I go to NYFDU and you"
Logan:"My sister goes there too her name is Sky I dont know if you know her oh and I go to law school its kinda far from NYFDU"
Me:" I have never seen her around but if I do I will say hi...so are studying how to be a lawyer"
Logan:"well I wanted to be a professional football player but my father dosent agree with me soo yeah"
Me: " And does being a lawyer make you happy" he just shook his head and smiled.
Logan: " So why are you going to California?"
Me: " well me,my bestfriend and my sister made a plan four years ago that we where going to California when we where old enough and we figured is time"
Logan: "Cool your going to love if you need a guide or something call me.. here" he handed me a card with his phone number.
Me:" Thanks...so this is not your first time going "
Logan: "No its like my seventh hundred time going...I used to go more often because of my girlfriend but when we broke up there was no reason for going over there but many of my friends leave there and one of them is having a birthday party so I taught why not go and surprise him"
Me:" Thats nice of you"
Logan:" so are you dating anyone"
Me: " No not anymore thats kinda the main reason which i taught it was a good time to go to California to see if I can get over him"
Logan: "trust me California is going to help you"
Me:"Hope so" I looked out the window and we where on the air already I hadn't noticed since I was talking to Logan. We talked a little more about ourselves and random stuff.
The plane will be arriving in fifteen minutes everyone buckle your seat belts
Logan: " Wow the time flew by fast"
Me: " i know well it was nice meeting you I will make sure to call if we are lost in Cal witch I am pretty we will"
Logan:" Nice meeting you too and i will be waiting for your call"
When the plane landed we got out and said our goodbyes again and hugged and headed our separate ways. I called my sister to pick me up and told her to not say anything to my parents and to call corina to go over our house. When she saw me she gave a bear hug and asked me if i was okay again and I said yes and told her to stop asking.
When we arrived home Corina's car was parked outside. When I entered everyone began hugging me and asking if i was okay...i loved my family but they where getting kinda annoying. We called all my aunts uncles grama etc. Over and we had a cook out. After everyone left Corina and my sister where picking a hotel to stay in. Corina sleptover and the next morning i told my parents goodbye and we headed to the airport again.

The flight to California was fun because I had my two favorite people besides me. When we arrived to California everything looked so beautiful we headed to our hotel in the car we had rented for the week. When we got there the hotel looked beautiful there was a huge pool and our room was huge we had two king size bed but we agreed to sleep in one of them together.
Corina: " so what do yall want to do first?"
Me: "How about we go get something to eat does subway sound good?"
Corina and Kenia said yes in unison. We looked for a subway close to the hotel and there was one a mile away so we decided to go walking. As we walked there we saw many stores I wanted to go to each one of them but my stomach told me to eat first.
When we got subway we placed or orders and waited for them to be ready. I payed the cashier and we sat at table in the corner by the window. Corina:" I am going to the restroom i will be right back" she headed to the restroom looking down at her phone. And I saw a guy look at her as she passed by it was Kian Lawley the guy Corina had always wished to meet. As corina entered the door he headed to the table we where seating on.
Kian:" Hi i am Kian I was wondering are you close friends with the beautiful girl that was sitting here" he pointed at the seat where corina had been sitting me and my sister nodded.
Kian: " Do you think she might be interested in me ,I just can't get over how beautiful she is"
Me: " She knows who you are and trust me she is going to be interested in you" a huge smiled spread across his face.
Kian:" so what do I do "
Me: " what do you mean?"
Kian: "To get her attention"
Me:" Just sit there and wait for her to get out of the restroom" he nodded and ran to get his sub from the table he was sitting on and sat on the seats besides Corina. Corina came out of the restroom and walked to the table we where on she was looking down at the floor while she straced the lines fron the squares in the ground with her foot. When she was just two squares away she looked up and her eyes grew wide.
Corina: " Kian" she said under her breath. Kian stood up and walked to her.
Kian:" Hi"
Corina: "Hey"
Kian:" so i was telling your friend here that I think you are really beautiful " Corina looked over his shoulder and smiled at me.
Corina:" thanks you are really hot i mean your good looking" he just gave a small laugh and said thanks.
Kian: " So there is this party today will you want to go with me and bring your friends with you"
Corina:" I will love too"
Kian:"YES! I mean great well here is the address and my phone number see you later beautiful" he kissed her on the cheek and headed out.
When he was out the door. Corina screamed and gave me a huge hug.
Corina: "please tell me this is not just a dream" i just laughed and shook my head.
Corina:" Oh my God this is the best day ever!...i dont know what to wear for the party"
Me:" we could go shopping there is a bunch of stores out there" she just nodded and took a bite of her sub. When we where done we went to all the stores looking for something to wear. I bought a bought a royal blue crop top with floral design and decided to wear some white shorts i had at the hotel. Corina bought a aqua blue summer dress it was one of the most beautiful summer dresses i had seen. My sister bought a purple cardigan, a white tank top and black shorts. When we got to the hotel it was only 5:30pm so we had thirty minutes to get ready. We got dressed and while i did Corina's hair she asked a question which i had wished she didn't ask.
Corina: " So how are things with Ansel?" And i juat took a deep breath and told her everything including Ansel's father i didn't care if she knew she was good at keeping secrets. After I was done she gave me a hug.
Corina:" I am sorry if you want I will go and talk to his dad and make him change his mind" i just laughed and shook my head.
Me:" No one will ever get to change his mind I just need to try and forget about him...and its going to be hard but that's how it has to go"
Corina: " are you really going to let it go that easy just because that asshole told you too...that's not what the Julia I know will do ..if you love him you need to fight for him"
Me: " i know but it's hard with a guy telling me he will kill me and my family for just going out with his son...do you think its a good idea for me to go to the party"
Corina:" Good point I guess.....and heck yes it will help you forget about him if thats what you want" when i was finish straightening and then braiding her hair . She looked at her self in the mirror and her eyes went wide.
Corina: " Oh my gosh thank you for the first time I really do feel beautiful"
Me:" you are welcome my friend that will be a hundred bucks" i extended my hand she put imaginary money on my hand.
Corina:" I put some extra twenty"
I just laughed and looked at the clock it was almost time i applied red lipstick and put my hair to the side. I began to think that I shouldn't be going but then remembered what corina said and i didn't want to forget him he will always be in a part of my heart but I had to let go it was the best thing for us. I put my white combers and grabbed my purse.
Corina:" Okay lets go" my sister and i followed corina to the car in our way to the party we got lost two times until we finally got there. The house was huge it was peach color and had huge brown doors Kian was standing by the door probably looking for corina. When we got out of the car Kian looked at us and ran to us in full speed. And then stood infront of corina with out sayin a word just looking her up and down.
Kian:" Corina you look amazing I am so glad you came i was getting worried that maybe yall where not coming"
Corina:" thanks and I wouldn't miss it" he just smiled and grabbed her by the waist and leaded her to the door. We followed them inside and kian introduced us to many of his friends. Then he tapped the shoulder of a guy that was playing fuzzball he had blond hair and when he turned around I knew who he was.
Logan:" Julia?"
Me:" hey"
Kian: " yall two know each other" logan put a hand around my shoulders and nodded.
Logan:"we where plane buddies...nice seeing you again"
Me:"Nice seeing you again too"
Kian:" well if you ladies are hungry Jc is cooking burgers outside"
Logan:"well got to get back and play but i will see youblater Julia" i smiled and followed kian and corina i looked around for my sister but she wasn't there but when we got to the backyard Jc had an arm around her.
Jc:"hey kian ain't this girl the most beautiful girl you have seen" my sister blushed.
Kian:" For you but for me Corina is" i felt kinda awkward so i just grabbed a burger and sat on a chair by the pool. And then someone covered my eyes with their hands.
"Guess who?"
Me:" I dont know"
"Come on guess it dosent matter if you guess wrong"
Me:" wait i know this is it Logan"
He uncovered my eyes and stood infront of me.
Logan:"Congratulations you got it right" i just laughed.
Logan:" why are you all alone?"
Me:" i guessed corina will want to spend some alone time with kian and my sister with JC"
Logan: " well its good that I am here because i will be your party buddy now"
Me:" haha okay"
Logan:" so what do you say we get in the pool"
Me:" i am okay"
Logan:"come on please please" i just laughed and shook my head.
Me:" Nope and if i did want to i didn't bring a swim suit"
Logan:" okay you leave me no choice" he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder and before i knew i hit the water good thing it was hot.
Me:"Logan!" I just started laughing after. He jumped into the water and splashed so much water.
Logan:" I am sorry but you left me no choice" I just smiled and splashed some water at him.
Logan: " Can I just say I love that smile " i blushed and looked around. The pool look so much bigger once you where inside i swimed to the edge and got out and Logan followed. I looked at my phone to see the time but i saw a few missed calls from stacey and i had one voicemail. I put my phone in my ear and heard the voicemail and it was Ansel's voice.
Hey Julia I was looking for you today and I heard you went to California....well i just called to say that I am ready to let go of you if thats what makes you happy...i always promised myself to do what ever it took to keep you happy and smiling and if this is what it takes okay..just remember that i never loved a girl so much as I did you...you are the best thing that ever happened to me Love You Julia Foster"
I felt tears beginning to form until they all began to fall once again.
