Your bare feet padded along the cool grass, your fingers fiddled with the silver arrow necklace clipped around your neck. Mali held up the train as she was your maid of honour. "Y/n you look amazing." She said as she fixed your tiara. "Thank you Mali!" You blushed. "Think about it Y/n you'll be a Queen!" Mali gushed as you began to walk to the celebration. You suddenly stopped. "But what happens if he runs out on the wedding? What happens if he marries a princess instead of me?" You stressed fiddling with the ring Calum had proposed to you with. Mali took your hands in hers. "Y/n he loves you! Don't worry about it. Look at this." She slipped your engagement ring off your finger. "Would he personalise his engagement ring for you?" She said pointing to the writing engraved into the inside of the ring. You shook your head. She looked at you, "Y/n he loves you. He loves you more than anything else in the world! Trust me on this. I know my little brother better than anyone else in the world and I can tell you that he will not run out on you. If anything he's shitting his pants thinking that you'll run out on him." She giggled and rubbed your arm softly. "Come on let's go get you married!"
Calum stood underneath the huge tree where he proposed to you. Both your family and friends sat in the beautifully made up pews. You had decided on an outside wedding and today was the best day to get married as the sun was shining down on you. Calum's best man, Luke brushed the lapels of his coat down and fixed his flower. "Cal calm down, I know she wants this to happen. Just chill alright!" He nodded taking deep huge breaths to try and calm himself down. He heard the organ start playing and his legs turned into mush. This was it, finally tying the knot. He could hear the 'ooh's' and 'ahh's' of your guests and he was dying to turn around. Finally when he couldn't take it any more he turned around, there you was walking on the grass barefoot with your father proudly walking you down the isle. In his eyes you were a goddess, your father kissed your head and you finished your walk to Calum. "Y/n you are the most beautiful girl I have ever set my eyes on." He gasped
"Do you, Y/n Y/m/n Y/L/n take Calum Thomas Hood to be your lawfully wedded husband?" The Archbishop asked. "I do." You whispered clutching onto Calum's large palms. "And do you, Calum Thomas Hood take Y/n Y/M/N Y/L/N to be your lawfully wedded wife?" Calum's eyes glistened. "I do." Your eyes ran over the crowd where most of them were crying. "Well in the power invested in my, I now pronounce you man and wife." Everyone cheered as Calum dipped you and kissed you lovingly. "Wait I have something to announce." Mali shouted over the cheering. Her smile faltered when she saw her parents, you gave her an encouraging smile. "I'm engaged!" She smiled. Her parents gasped. "To Felix." She said hugging the man beside her which was your old friend Felix who worked just down the road from you. The cheers carried on for the both of you as Calum and you climbed into a carriage.

"Brooke put that down and play with your toys please!" You said to your 2 year old. "But mami I want daddy." She whined throwing her toys on the floor. "Daddy's in another country at the moment bubba." You said sighing. Calum was currently fighting in a war between you and a neighbouring country. "But I wanna see him now." She cried before curling up in your lap making you stop knitting. "I know bubba I know." You whispered smoothing her black hair down. Her wide eyes met yours. "I miss daddy." She whispered a few tears falling from her eyes. "So do I but we have to be strong for daddy. He'll be back in no time." You sighed before looking back into her eyes. She had gotten your eye colour but acted so much like Cal that it was almost like he was here with you. "Or he'll be back now." A familiar voice laughed. "Cal?" You cried. "Daddy!" Brooke yelled, toddling towards a tired looking Calum. "Hey babe." He whispered, eyes glistening up. "Cal." You whispered running up to him and kissing him. "I've missed you so much you would not believe it!" You said softly while cupping his chubby cheeks in your hands. "I've missed you more than I can imagine. But for my two special girls in my life I got a few gifts." He pulled out a huge box for Brooke and a small one for you. You sat down on the huge plush red sofa. "What is this daddy?" Brooke giggled once she opened her present. "It's called a bicycle Brookie, it's a new transportation device." He laughed. "WOW thank you daddy." She ran up to him, hugging him tightly before giving him a big sloppy kiss ok his cheek and running back to check out the bicycle. "You didn't have to get me a gift Cal." You said as you tore off the paper. Tucked in blue paper was a golden clock that you could wear as a necklace. "Cal it's beautiful!" You gasped as you ran your hands over the delicately made design. "Open it." Your eyebrows furrowed whilst trying to open it. "Here let me show you." He clicked open the clock and there was a small painting of the three of us from last Christmas. "It's the best gift I could ever have asked for." You said as he clipped it around your neck. "It's to show you no matter how fast time flies you'll always have your family to spend that precious time with." He said before he kissed you passionately. "Daddy come help me ride." Brooke said running back over with her purple velvet riding helmet. "You coming to help?" He asked helping Brooke onto her new bike. "No I'll just stand here and watch." You said going back to knitting. "Faster daddy faster!" She giggled whilst Calum pulled her round the room. "I'm trying Brookie I'm trying." He huffed speeding up ever so slightly. You laughed at the sight of your daughter making your husband run around like a headless chicken. "Your doing well daddy but you should go faster. Maybe you could pretend that a bear is behind you and is going to eat you. GRRR!" She giggled. Calum faked gasped and ran even faster somehow. These were the memories that would always be there in your mind. No matter how old and frail you and Calum would become, you would never leave each other's side. You often wondered what would happen if Calum did end up marrying a princess instead of you but it doesn't matter now. You have a beautiful girl and a loving husband, what more could you ask for?
