Ashton:
"Daddy! We're going to be late!" The sweet voice tinkled in his ears as Ashton groaned and rolled over, cuddling down into the duvet. Two thin arms wrapped around his torso and he opened up his eyes. Isabelle's huge hazel eyes watched her father roll underneath her, having done ballet since she was a little girl, now being a teenager and obtaining her first pair of pointé shoes, Isabelle often looked after her father, not the other way round. Elliot walked past the master bedroom, staring at the odd scene that was occurring inside.
"Dad, Isabelle needs to go ballet, mum's out remember?" Elliot called out. Ashton's eyes shot open, sitting up before throwing the covers off and pulling on a jumper that lay strewn on a chair. Isabelle sat perched on the king sized bed, tapping on her phone and watching her father run around in a panic. He grabbed her hands, pulling her out the door and grabbing the bag that sat in front of the door, packed to the brim with Isabelle's ballet gear. Y/n had foreseen a panic like this and made sure Ashton knew where everything was, though she knew her youngest child could look after herself.
Ashton sat on the bench with the rest of the parents who watched their children practice, Ashton watched Isabelle perfect her pirouettes on pointe, along with the help of a fellow dancer, her ballet teacher clapped loudly and beamed as she congratulated Isabelle. Ashton watched with pride at his teenage daughter, his mind flickered back.
A four year old Isabelle flopped on the floor and Ashton knelt in front of her, slipping the delicate ballet slippers onto her feet. Her stray blonde hair had been swept up into a tight bun by Y/n and a pink bow was perched in front. Ashton lifted his little girl into his arms, walking into the studio where little girls in pink leotards and tutus stood around, some with hands on the bars whilst the younger girls stood around nervously ready for their first ballet lesson. Isabelle cuddled her head into Ashton's shoulder, mumbling something he couldn't understand. He placed her on the floor, trying to push her forward.
"Go on." He said, a small smile picking up at the corner of his lips. She shook her head, trying to cuddle back into his body. Ashton picked her up once more and carried her over to the bar, helping her hand to grip on to the wooden bar for support. "I believe in you princess." He kissed her forehead and sat back down. Giving her a thumbs up as the teacher begun introducing the first steps.
Isabelle waved, her dimples caving into her cheeks as she stood to the side, flushed faced and panting. Ashton smiled proudly and shot her a thumbs up.
He couldn't stop the swelling of his heart full of pride for his little girl.
Calum:
Soft snores erupted from Calum's parted lips, you walked in bearing a tray of hot chocolate as your eldest daughter, Jasmine whooped quietly. You passed the steaming mugs to both Jasmine and Zara who warmed their fingers up on the mug. You glanced at the empty seat next to Calum, where you had left your youngest snuggled up beside her father. Calum snorted loudly, smacking his lips together as you sat down next to him, feeling his strong arms loop round your waist and pull you into him. A 'tch' left your lips as you tried to pull away, giggles coming from your daughters and your rolled your eyes. You heard a tiny, forceful cough.
"Mummy, please wake up daddy." Lilo, your youngest stood in front of you, scruffily dressed in her pink leotard with her tights caught up in bunches round her ankles and her half her hair pulled up into what looked like a birds nest. You elbowed Calum in the chest and he shot upright, coughing.
"Whhat- what's happening?"Calum mumbled, rubbing his eyes and yawning widely, you gestured your head towards Lilo, who still stood in the centre of your living room, glaring daggers at her father. "Oh.." He trailed off, biting his lip and you shook your head, laughing silently.
