You rubbed your tired eyes and stared at the clock in the corner of the room.

2am

You glanced over at the huddle of boys who were whispered quietly to each other.

"Have you guys even checked the time?" You called out, stretching your arms and legs that were previously in a cramped position. Michael turned around, his eyes wandering over to the clock.

"Shit, I need to get home!" He cried, grabbing his coat from the chair before rushing out the room to the hallway. This roused Calum and Ashton to look at the clock as well.

"It doesn't feel like two am." Ashton yawned, Calum nodding silently. Luke looked up last, his quiff had sunk and was now flattened across his face. Once he saw that Michael had left the table and was fiddling in the hallway with his shoes, immediately stood up.

"Boys you can't leave we have to finish this song." He said, as they opened the front door, lingering slightly.

"Mikey, Cal, Ash just go, it's two am, go rest come back tomorrow and then you can start on the song again." They all nodded sleepily and trailed out the door. Luke turned to you, his eyes narrowed.

"Why'd you let them leave? We nearly finished the song!" He said angrily, you just shrugged your coat on and looked back at Luke.

"Did you see them Luke? They looked like zombies. And what's the big deal? They're coming back tomorrow to finish it." He shook his head.

"But I can't finish this alone!" You raised an eyebrow and stepped forward so that you were close to his face.

"Look if you wanted company you could've just asked Mr Big Shot!" You hissed.

"I don't want your company, you can't do anything right!" You scoffed, shaking your head as you opened the door.

"This is why everyone listens to me, because I'm right, it's like you don't actually care for the boys! You work them until early hours and their eyes are drooping." His face dropped.

"But I do care."

"No Luke you don't. If you cared, they would've gone home at a reasonable time, arrived at your doorstep the next morning to start again. Not leaving at two am. And that, that is the reason you're all alone NOW!" You stated.

"Well I'm stuck with you aren't I?" He yelled.

"Not anymore." You whispered to yourself, opening the door.

"Where are you going?" He asked, there was now no more anger in his voice just... Sadness.

"Well you clearly don't want me here." You retorted.

"Of course I do I LOVE YOU!" You froze on the spot and Luke clamped a hand over his mouth. Smirking you turned around.

"What was that?" You asked, stepping towards a breathless Luke.

"Not-Nothing." He murmured, his eyes trained on his sock covered feet. You raised your eyebrow.

"You know for a moment there I thought you said I love you." Anxiously his eyes met yours. He shook his head.

"Oh well that's a shame." You whispered before pressing your lips to his in a chaste kiss.

"I better go then." You said, still smiling. You made your way to the door but an arm stopped you.

"Maybe I won't be alone tonight?" Luke asked, bashfully, holding your thighs and carrying you to his bedroom.

"You'll never be alone again."
