I had put a little more effort into my outfit tonight so I could go see the guy I met yesterday. I'm so glad he didn't call me Summer, finally someone who just accepts who I actually am. I sat on the little log and waited for him. After about five minutes he arrived. I smiled and so did he.
" Hi Sum- Gemma, " he corrected himself. I shrugged it off and he sat down beside me. I let out a sigh.
" I'm pretty confused, " I started, " Regina genuinely seems to care for me but what I've grown up with and know is so much more different. " I said started to feel my annoyance at the issue.
" Well I know you believe different but I'm gonna tell you what we believe, " he said and I braced myself for whatever lies Regina told them, " We were sailing in this raft you had built to be like your fathers, the one who wears leather, and I was petrified. You helped me get over my fear and in the process you fell overboard when a rope hit you. I dived in after you and dragged you to shore. You were rushed to hospital and pronounced dead and that's when I kissed you on the forehead. You woke up, " he chocked out the last part as he throat and his eyes were swelling getting ready to cry, " Before you woke up and the doctor told us you were dead your father was ready to kill the doctor but your mother stopped him, she felt the pain, the anger and the loss but she didn't fight, she was just heart broken. We went to go visit you the next day but you were fine and was gone for a whole month, " he finally stopped. He looked at me and expected me to remember everything but I didn't. Everything there seemed real but I just didn't remember a thing. I knew he wouldn't be able to describe it in such detail unless he was there. This had happened and I just couldn't remember.
" It sounds real and genuine but I don't remember, " I said in a quiet and ashamed voice like I had disappointed him. He gave me an understanding smile.
" You look pretty tired, want an energy drink? " he asked and handed me a bottle with blue liquid. I nodded and drank it. You sneaky little monkey. It was remembering potion! I didn't say anything though even though I longed to tell him I was back again, that Summer was here. But I can't, I need to figure out Zelena's plan. I just gave him a grateful smile and walked home. I had to now lie to everyone 24/7. I walked back to the little cottage Zelena and I lived in and smiled as she sat there cooking. I got washed up before sitting down to dinner with her.
" I'm sorry I took you to Storybrooke, it must have been really stressful, " she said forking her food.
" It's ok, " I reassured, " Regina gave me up and she deserved to have someone talk back to her! Seriously she makes me sick to my stomach, " I said repeating Zelena's words from the hospital. She smirked and then returned to her food. When we were finished I cleaned up and we stayed up watching TV. I decided to go for it.
" Zelena, you've raised me my whole life and I know when something isn't right, are you planning something? " I asked casually flicking through the channels. She took in a deep breath.
" I'm going to take her happy ending away, there. Are two kinds of people in this world, people who deserve to be happy and people who don't deserve, but fate is a sick and twisted thing and sometimes, the people who deserve it are denied it. So I'm showing fate whose boss, " she finished and I nodded, " I'm going to fight her tomorrow, " she said.
" I'm coming with you, " I insisted and she smiled at me. I went to bed to get ready for a fight, Zelena, get ready for the tables to turn because you are not laying a finger on my Mum. I woke up the next morning and got showered and had some cereal. I did a slight work out before the shower and cereal. When Zelena came out we went to Storybrooke and Zelena called our Mum. Mum appeared angrier than ever. I had told Zelena I just took my sword and gun but I had a little surprise. I wanted to hug Mum as we had been a week and a month apart. But I had to make Zelena believe I was Gemma until the fight. If your cocky your vulnerable, thats my secret weapon. Zelena smirked wickedly out to the crowd to intimidate everyone. Zelena made the first move and sent a bin hurling towards Mum and that's when I broke out. I pulled out my sword and sliced it in half. I stood with my back to Mum but I heard her inhale sharply.
" Wh-what!? " She shrieked and I smirked.
" Lesson, don't mess with us Mills, " I said and then sent Zelena flying. She hit a wall and got up she was panting with rage and sent me flying right back into a car. I climbed out with a groan as Mum stepped in but Zelena froze everyone but her self and me. I brushed the glass off and shook my self. I sent a lamp tumbling but she dodged it. I then tried to strike again but I felt her constrict my throat. She rummaged through Emma's bag and brought out my heart. She smiled her wicked smile as she had an idea on what she wanted me to do. She brought her lips close to my heart and more than anything I wished I was in my mothers place. She whispered into my heart.
