Ross' Point of View

“AH!” I yelled at myself, slamming my hand into the wall. What just happened?

“Ross, what's the matter!?” Rydel ran into the room.

I shook my head. “Nothing.” I gritted my teeth when she cocked her head and placed her hand on her hip.

“Ross...” she stared me down, I know I'm not getting out of this one.

“We got into another fight.” I hissed.

“What?” She sighed. “What happened?” She sat on Ryland's bed. Instead of sitting, I started walking around my room, packing my bags. “Wait, did you say another fight?”

“Yeah, we had a fight on Monday. It was stupid and pointless.” I muttered. “So when I called her today, things were fine,” My voice became very sarcastic. “for about two seconds until Riker showed me this article online.” I pulled out my phone and showed my older sister. She took a moment to read the whole thing.

“What did she say about it?” She handed the phone back to me. I sighed and sat down next to her.

“She claims she never talked to the magazine.” I scoffed. “Can you believe that? They used a direct quote from her, and she still tries to claim she didn't talk to them.

“I'm sure you guys will smooth things over, you always do.” She tried to reassure me, but I was still so pissed off.

I took a deep breath. “I don't know Delly.” I ran my fingers through my hair. “We actually decided to take a break.” She didn't say anything, just wrapped her arms around me.

“Maybe that's a good thing,” She said quietly. “You guys have been fighting a lot lately. And when we get back from Puerto Rico, things might be better for you two. Either it's staying together or breaking up, things will get better.”

I rested my head on her shoulder. “Do you think so?”

“What's going on?” Ryland asked cautiously as he walked into the room, grabbing his bag.

“Nothing.” we both got up from the bed. “I was just finishing up packing for Puerto Rico.”

“WE LEAVE IN FIVE HOURS!” Rocky called out from somewhere in the house.

“Yeah! A week in Puerto Rico before Ross has to start filming!” Rydel exclaimed with excitement. She turned to me with a sad smile. “Yeah, Ross, I think so.” And with that my sister and brother walked out if the room.

For the rest of the night, or at least until we left to the airport at ten, I just blasted Mayday Parade as I packed. If I'm in a depressed mood, might as well have some good music to listen to.

When Roxy's favorite Mayday song came on I just fell onto the bed. My head fell into my hands as the tears came running from my eyes. “Please stay.”

“Flight 520 to Puerto Rico is now loading at terminal C.” the overhead called out at the Lynch family was off.

When we were loaded on the plane, I got the window seat while my two older brothers sat next to me. I pulled out my cell phone, half tempted to call Roxy and beg for her to come back.

I grabbed my cell and stared at her icon picture. It was our first date at the All Time Low concert. It was a picture of Roxy in the middle and on both sides Alex Gasgarth and I were giving her a kiss.
