Roxy's Chapter:
After a long conversation with my biological mother the day at the studio, I realized she wasn't the monster I thought she was. She was actually really sweet. And we have been in contact almost every day since.
“Here, drink some water before the show.” Tiffany handed me a bottle of ice cold water almost a week later. I took the bottle with thanks. “I'm gonna go by Mitch. Let me know if you need anything.”
“Okay.” I smiled. “Thanks.”
Tiffany pressed her lips to my forehead. “Good luck.” I grimaced a little, totally not used to her kissing my head. But whatever.
I walked over to my friends. Together we were standing backstage at the Silver Tree, playing as an opener for We Are The In Crowd. All my friends milled around as we waited to go on.
I placed myself next to Pierce who had his phone sitting on the arm rest. “Whata doin'?” I asked playfully.
His phone went off, and out of habit, I grabbed it and looked at the text. Here, standing center stage. Love ya, babe! - Mandy
“Mandy?” I my eyebrows bunch. I didn't know anybody named Mandy. “She says she's in the crowd. Center stage.” I looked up to him with confusion. “Who's Mandy?”
Pierce took the phone from my hands. “Nobody. Leave it alone.”
I stood up and held my hands up in defense. “Geh, sorry.” I walked away. “Somebody's pmsing.” I warned my the others.
Mitch walked over to us. “You guys are on in five.”
Immediately, all of us ran over to our weapon of choice and started to get ready. I glanced to my friends, all of them had a huge smile on their faces.
This is where we were meant to be. On stage. Doing what we love. Gosh, this feels amazing! And even better lately. Whenever I'm preforming, I forget about everything else that's going on in the world, including Ross Lynch.
The curtains opened up and the crowd roared. No introductions, our music did that for us. We started out our set list with a fan favorite. The crowd sang along with us. Loved it!
I glanced over the sea of people. So many familiar faces, loyal fans. But I gazed stopped when I came to the center stage. My eyes became hard as rocks. Amanda stood in the middle of the crowd, a smile on her face as she watched Pierce. Mandy.
I couldn't believe it.
I tried so hard not to think about the girl standing in the crowd, instead I concentrated on the music. As the first song came to an end, we immediately started into the second song.
As I moved across the stage, I touched the hands of the fans. They were going crazy! I made my way over to Danny and Noah. Pressing my back to Danny, I kept the song going strong.
The second song came to an end. I walked up to center stage and clasped my mic onto it's stand. Out of breath and sweaty, I pulled my hair into a ponytail. “Wow, you guys are amazing!” I yelled out causing an uproar. I chuckled. “If you haven't figured it out by know, we are Old School Photo!”
Noah led off into the next song with an amazing guitar solo. I gazed over the crowd one more time. My heart stopped when I thought I saw a familiar blond head. Is Ross here?
I almost missed my que as I cranked my neck sideways trying to get a better look. I held the mic to my lips, eventually I gave up and kept up with the show. I must be day dreaming. No way Ross would come out to see the show.
