Ross' Point of View:
“Down, set, hike!” Rydel called out. The whole family stood in the middle of the football field, ready to score the game point. When the ball flew, so did we.
Riker caught the ball and started to run down the field, but was soon caught by Ryland. As he ran, he tried dodging Ratliff and dad. He threw the ball to me. I made sure Rocky was covering me as I ran down the field, scoring the last touchdown.
“That's how you do it son!” I called out in victory. I heard my sister laughing at me, but I didn't care, we won the game, which meant we won bragging rights. And in this house, that's gold.
Together, we started to grab our things that laid on the sidelines. “Hey guys, if we can get cleaned up, we can go out to dinner at that restaurant we all like.” Mom called out.
I have never seen six teenagers running to the bathroom so fast. All us boys tried to get into the bathroom, but Rydel was super fast, beating us to the bathroom.
“I'm next!” Riker called out, using his authoritative voice.
“Um, no,” I argued. “Winners go first.” I smirked.
“So, that means I go next.” Rocky noted. I sighed, of course... A war started between us, trying to figure out who got to use the bathroom first.
Ryland cleared his throat, “Did you guys forget we have two bathrooms?”

Two hours later, the family was shuffling into a nice restaurant. “Table for eight.”
We followed the host to a table in the back of the restaurant. As soon as we were seated, we were just as loud and crazy as we usually are. I glanced over to the family next to us. There was a man, is wife, and their children; a boy and a girl probably no older then ten. As I looked to the wife, I couldn't help but think I've seen her before, I just couldn't place my finger on it...
My eyes widened when I finally realized why she looked so familiar. I leaned over to Rocky. “Doesn't that lady look like Roxy?”
Rocky discreetly looked over to the blond women next to us. I knew I was right when I saw his mouth go slack. “Right?”
He turned to me with wide eyes. “Ross, do you have any idea who that is?” When I shook my head, Rocky just stared at me. “That's the president of Hopeless Records!”
I turned back to look at man next to the Roxy look-a-like. “Wow, that's the guy Roxy wants to sign with.” I thought to myself out loud.
“Ross, Rocky, stop gawking.” Mom hissed from her place next to dad.
With an awkward laugh, we turned back to the family. A smirk still on my face.

After dinner, I drove over to Roxy's house. When I got to the front door, Hope let me in. She motioned me to come to her level. “Roxy's sick.”
I smiled at the little girl. “I know, I brought her some soup.” I held up the container in my hand as proof. “Do you know where she is?”
“She's been crying a lot.” She explained as we trailed to the back of the house. I noticed everybody had gather in the living room, watching some random tv show. When we go to Roxy's room, Hope thought my arrival needed an announcement. “Roxy, Ross is here!”
My girlfriend laid sick in her bed, and I could tell Hope was right. Roxy's eyes were bloodshot red. She had herself wrapped in a giant blanket. She looked over to me with a small smile on her face. “Hey.”
Silently, Hope left us in the room, with the door open of course. That's the rule.
I placed the soup on the night stand. Then I walked over to Roxy, laying in the bed with her. “How you feeling?” I wrapped my arms around her.
She rested her head on my chest. “Like crap.” I reached over to the soup. “You didn't have to Ross.”
I shrugged. “What kind of a boyfriend would I be if didn't?”
Roxy didn't say anything, and when she didn't go for the soup, I put it back on the night stand. I rested my lips on the top of her head. “Why were you crying?”
She looked up to me. “How'd you know?”
“Rox, we've been together for how long? I've gotten pretty good at reading you.” I nudged her. “So..?”
Roxy went back to laying on my chest. I could feel her body starting to shake. Then I heard the sniffles. Oh, man, she was crying again. “Can we not talk about it? Please?”
I gave her a squeeze. “No problem.”
“Ross?” Her voice was horse. “Can you sing to me?”
We readjusted ourselves on her bed. I intertwined our fingers together. “Here comes that movie scene, one you hate, so cliché. That moment when we kissed by the lake, pourin' rain. I ain't no superman, but I can change you world. Here comes forever girl.”
As I sang to her one of R5's songs, I could feel her breathing returning back to normal as she stopped crying. “Let's go home together. Play our roles forever. Let's grow old together, here comes, here comes, here comes forever baby.”
After the song, neither of us said anything, we laid there, just holding each other. When her breathing got shallow, I looked down to see that she fell asleep in my arms. I brushed the blond hairs out of her face.
As I pressed my lips to her forehead, I tried to get out of the bed. Roxy gasped and jumped away. “Ross, where are you going?”
“I thought you were sleeping.” I murmured.
She wrapped her fingers around my hand. “Can you stay just a little bit longer?” I nodded my head. Roxy scouted over, making room for me. When I was on the best, my girl snuggled into my chest. “Please don't leave me.”
