Roxy's Point of View

Wow, that all I can say. Ross took me on the single most amazing date ever! I actually got to see and meet my favorite band in concert!

And then Ross and I took a walk over to the ocean where we shared our first mind blowing kiss.

It was the best first date ever! And I can only hope that our second date is just as great.

As I sat in the middle of my room with Grace's laptop sitting on my lap, I searched fun things to do in LA.

Go to the zoo? Nah, I kept searching. Oh this is perfect! Go to the aquarium! I picked up my cell phone and dialed Ross' number.

“Hello?” His voice was groggy. I glanced over to the clock. Opps... it was only 5 am. Yeah, I'm kinda a morning person. “Rox?”

“Oh, sorry, I forgot it was so early,” I started to ramble. “I'll just call you later.” I was about to hang up.

“Wait, no. I was just getting up.” He said through the phone.

“No you weren't.” I challenged him, twirling my hair with the tips of my fingers. When did I become such a girly girl?

Ross let out a belly laugh. “Yeah you're right. But I like talking with you.”

I smiled to myself. “I like it too.”

“So what did you want to talk about?” He asked.

“Well, I was wondering since you got to pick the last date, I get to pick the next one.” I offered as little information as possible.

“And what do these plans include?” My blond friend urging me to give more information, and I could tell he had a smirk on his face.

“It includes water and fish.” I smirked, climbing out of my window to the roof, watching the sunrise. “And it's not the ocean.”

“We're going to the aquarium?!” Ross sounded like a little kid. I let out a laugh. “Hey, don't make fun of me! I love going to the aquarium.”

“I didn't say anything.” I defended playfully.

“Yeah yeah. Whatever.” He retorted. “So are we going today?” I nodded my head, then remember he couldn't see me.

“Yeah, that works.” I glanced to the clock. “Pick me up at noon, I can pack lunch and we can eat there?”

“Sounds like a plan.” Ross answered. “I'll see you in a couple of hours, night Roxy.” He said playfully.

“Morning Ross.” I said just as I hung up my phone. With a smile, I just sat on the top of my roof, watching the sun come up over the horizon. “Today's gonna be a good day.”

I climbed back down to my bedroom, trying not to wake up Krystal. And I was successful, I managed to get in and out of the room with out making a single peep.

I made my way over to the kitchen to grab some breakfast.

“So, who's the boy?” Her voice mad me jump ten feet into the air. I turned around to see Grace standing there with her pink robe, leaning up against the door frame.

“I don't know what you're talking about.” I mumbled, avoiding her eyes.

“Mh- huh.” She walked over to me, hopping on to the counter next to me. “So you're in a good mood for nothing...? Interesting. And talking on the phone at five in the morning, no big deal.” She caught me...

I sighed and leaned on the counter next to her. “His name's Ross.”

“Aw, tell me about him.” Grace sounded like a teenage girl. Well, she's only 35 years old, so she's pretty young.
