Heats- Can be controlled with medication, but medication is not prescribed for continuous use. The heat lasts 2-6 days and can range from mere discomfort to excruciating pain and heightened senses. Slick is produced. Scent is produced to attract a mate. Urge to breed. Usually once every 2-3 or 3-4 months.
Ruts- Last 2-6 days, uncomfortable, knots more sensitive than normal, urge to breed. More aggression than normal, protective of omegas against other alphas. Scent is stronger to lure in a mate.
Bond when a heat and rut are spent together.
