Bradley:

Everything was awkward and so uncomfortable. Bradley was struggling to be near Max, not because he didn't want to but because he felt such an urge to tell Max everything. He couldn't though, it would ruin one of the only  good things he had.

The tension was high as they walked, both deep in thought with the only goal that was to find Ian.

Ian had long hair and he wore green sunglasses all the time. He was an alright guy but Bradley much preferred Eleanor.

"Hey!! I'm ova here!!" Shouted Ian's voice from behind Bradley in the bleacher seats above them.

Ian had a New Jersey accent that made him sound even more laid back and friendly than he was, it made him sound like a joke but in a way that wasn't a bad thing.

Bradley waved his hand to him in a cordial way as his lips quickly shaped in a straight line. Max followed behind as they found their spots next to Ian.

"Hey, nice to see you" said Bradley, kind but almost formal. It was odd to great someone like Ian that way.
He didn't mind though, he grabbed Bradley's hand and swung him into a side hug

"It's been like weeks man!"
Ian was very loud, Bradley was trying his best to not express his annoyance to the outburst of energy so he just smiled.

"Uhh, this is my Max...I mean uh my roommate..my friend..Max.." jeez did he just call him 'My Max'..?! This couldn't get more embarrassing.

Max was hiding a mischievous smile, the tension was lowering because of the mistake in Bradley's introduction and it had been a small wave of relief.

"Yes I'm Bradley's Max!" Max said enthusiastically as he nodded and shakes Ian's hand.

"Oh don't worry I've heard plenty about you. Eleanor says you're one of Bradley's only friends." Ian joked as he nudged Bradley, who was flushed a bright red all over.

Bradley rubbed his face with his hand, he was distressed and embarrassed. Max didn't need to know that, especially with how odd it had been today.

To Bradley's surprise Max chucked,
"Oh yeah, I'm quite the catch"
Max had a playful smirk on his face, Bradley was ontrueged because he had not seen Max act this way...almost..flirty?

Bradley brushed it off and he couldn't help but roll his eyes in sarcasm,  it truly broke the ice between them.

As introductions go, Max and Ian became pretty interested in conversing. Max had brought up skating and Ian mentioned that he wasn't a skateboarding guy...he did like roller blades however.

"Wheels are wheels, we're basically the same."

Exclaimed max and Ian shot finger guns

Soon enough, Eleanor came rushing. The show hadn't even been close to starting but she was still in a rush. Her flowy yellow top was fluttering around as she sped her way to them, she was giddy and full of energy.

Ian gave her a hug and a little peck, he had his arm around her as he whispered something in her ear that made her giggle. She was so excited and joyful, it was something Bradley had really admired about her.

"Max!! This is you right Max?"

It took her a second to notice he was there, this was probably because of the huge distance between them. It's felt like Max had been 10 feet away from them all.

Eleanor didn't say a thing about the awkward distance, she approached max and gave him a big hug

"I have heard so much , it's nice to meet you."

She said it in a way that was luring and made you want to know what she had heard because it must have been juicy.

Max hugged her back, it was an awkward hug but it felt right.

"Likewise....ive heard how strict you are to Brad over here"

Max had closed up to the group and nudged Bradley's gut with his elbow.

"Can't say I blame you..he's an ass!"

Max's shoulders shrugged and Bradley scoffed.

"You call me Brad again I dare you"

It was no use, once Max looked up at Bradley with his daring and determined eyes  that were pigmented a prideful brown, the threat was meaningless and they all could tell.

Bradley could have been misreading but he swore Max was blushing a bit as he quickly looked down to the ground, Eleanor hummed teasingly.

Just then lights went out and all soon went quiet.

Show time, this festival would be fun after all.
