Max:

Max didn't know many of the songs, however he was excited all the same.

When the lights shut down there was smoke and LEDs on stage, it was...amazing.

Regardless of the odd feelings between Bradley and the mistakes being made, it was a fun night and Max was so happy to be there.

A total of 8 performers were going on and it was bound to be a great night.

Eleanor was nothing like what Max thought she was. Around Bradley and Ian she was comfortable, she was bubbly. Max had only ever know her as a priss and a bully, now seeing her it might have just been a shield of protection from humiliation.

Eleanor and Max spend their time screaming together, it was odd to bond with someone he'd heard of but never truly met. It was like fate that they matched each other so well.

Ian and Bradley were calmer and more alarmed, it would be smart to have someone on the lookout at an event like this, either way the mood differences were interesting.

Before the third band began to play, Ian went to get a drink. Eleanor followed behind, it was just Max and Bradley now...

"The musics nice..."
Max started, it wasn't going to be awkward. He was sure of it

Bradley gave max a warm smile
"I'm really glad you like it"

Max felt his heart swell, not the response he though he would receive. Though he smiled back, he was feeling chaotic in his brain.

"There's a reason I wanted you to come max" Bradley began to say,

however just as he started, a lightbulb on the stage set blew up. There was suddenly springs of electricity flying everywhere as more started to blow.

Everything happened so fast and before he knew it Bradley grabbed max by the hand and ran

Max didn't know where they were going, he couldn't think. There was screaming and shoving and darkness and the only thing he could focus on was the feeling of Bradley's hand in his.

Someone was giving an announcement on the microphone on stage but it didnt seem to matter. Where ever they were going they weren't staying.

Bradley led Max all the way to the exit and once they got the car and Bradley unlocked it, he let out a big sigh of relief.

In the car, there was once again silence.
"What about Ian and Eleanor?!" Suddenly Max asked in a panic

Bradley help up his finger as he dialed Eleanor's number

He called but there was no response, he called again and then a few more time and she didn't pick up.

"That can't be good.."
Bradley muttered and he set his phone on the center console.

Max put his hand on Bradley's, he wanted him to know that he was there for him and they would be okay.

Bradley smiled but only to himself, he didn't look at max or anything really. Bradley's head was facing his lap as he contemplated.

Suddenly there was a nock on the window,

Startled, Bradley looked up and rolled down his window

"You might as well get comfy, this property is under a lock down. There's been intruders who have jacked up our electricity system. Until we can find them and fix the power, no one is going anywhere"

"Oh jeez, thank you for letting us know."

The officer nodded as he added
"Stay safe and keep your doors locked. Call the building if you spot anything."

The officer then pushed himself off of the car window which he was leaning on and walked back to the golf cart he was patrolling on and Bradley rolled up the window

"Well, it's just you me and this parking lot Max."
Bradley rolled his head back onto the head rest of the seat and closed his eyes.

What had this night turned into? And where would it go from here?
