Bradley:
Eleanor was actually quite the talker, she explained how everyone in college has groups

"Jocks, nerds, I mean even that guy you hate..max?" She hesitantly exclaimed

Bradley was suddenly paying even more attention

"Yeah, Max."

He responded

"Well I think we should make a pact, we should be good friends. It would be good for both of us really"

She said it so nonchalant, she was forcing him to be her friend because he had no one else to run to. To be fair she had no one else either, no one else here.

"Well sure, I guess I can tolerate you."
Responded Bradley teasing her, it would quickly become normal for both of them thought Bradley.

Soon enough lunch was over, Bradley had no class to get to so he walked Eleanor to her band class.

"See ya"

It was weird, Eleanor is a girl and typically this would be a romantic kind of connection. She was a very pretty blonde, she had a great personality too. However Bradley felt no kind of romantic connection between them.

Extremely odd, he thought but leaning on someone will be extremely helpful for him. Once trust was gained life could be easier here.

Max:

"Lesa GOOO" screamed Bobby in the hallway, to be honest max wasn't in the mood to go anywhere.

"Shall we eat here or pizza?" Asked Pj

Max was zoning out, he couldn't focus on the silliness, he just wanted to get home.

"Max...did you hear me?"
Asked Bobby while trying to pick up the pace now outside campus

"We're hitting up our pizza place" said pj almost irritated with maxes current state of mind.

"Oh, yeah that's fine"

He couldn't get it out of his head that he just wanted to go home, the nice coach sounded so nice. Whatever, he could hold out until after they ate and skated a bit.
.
.
.
"Max? Long time no see"
A familiar voice called from behind their table

Max turned around to find the new lead gamma member, Tank. He had a sort of smug look on his face, one that bothered max.

"Oh..yea- hi" max didn't know how to respond, he could only be awkward and distant

Tank and max hadn't really ever talked now that he thought about it, they ended on okay terms after the games supposedly. However this interaction just felt off, there was a bad feeling in the air.

"What're you doing down here huh? You must know we've claimed it here"

said tank, calm but max felt the tension rise

"Claimed? Cmon don't start acting like Brad now"
max laughed nervously, what was his problem??
"You think I'm jokin? I'll drag you out myself if I have ta"

Tank was scary, he was big and his voice was so low. He did all of Bradley's dirty work and you would be dead if you caught him in a fight.

With all this to consider, max wasn't one to be told what to do and where to go. Max crossed his arms and raised a brow, he wasn't budging.

Tank chuckled and made his way to max, Pj was begging to leave

"Let's just leave max come on, it's not that serious it's just a pizza place!"

Pj sounded terrified, it was almost enough to break Max's fury, though it didn't.

"You think I'm scared of you? You might look big and scary but it's all bark no bite"

Spat max while Bobby was practically shoving him out the door, tank following them with every step they took until they reached the outdoor glass.

If Bobby hadn't of held on to max something terrible would have gone about, realized max after his flash of anger left him and logic reappeared.

"This was your warning you tiny prick, next time it won't be so easy for you to get away"

Shouted tank as Bobby nodded and Pj pretty much all of begged for forgiveness, they had been halfway down the block already.

The silence had been killing max, he didn't like only hearing everyone's footsteps on the dry sidewalk with the occasional crunch of leafs.

"Guys I'm sorry, I know that was stupid"
Max was looking down at the boring concrete, watch their feet move them back and forth back and forth.

"Do you?? You could have needed up with a black eye or even worse a broken nose."
Pj shot back

"I'll do you one better, both!!"
Added Bobby

Suddenly Brads black eye from this weekend popped into Max's head. Maybe? No, there's no way. Bradley couldn't he stupid enough to try to talk to Tank.

What a dumb thought, where did that even come from?

Max decided to just get home, his mood was off all day and spending time with Pj and Bobby wouldn't benefit anyone.
