Hi guys!! I know this one is lowkey so short. I hope it's okayy ❤️‼️

So you're telling me we're not..against this Max guy anymore..?"

Asked Eleanor, cupping her coffee with both hands on the table.

Bradley scratched the back of his head, hesitating his response

"Well no...he's just like, different..now...like all I had to do what have a good conversation and he's not so bad"

Bradley was almost ashamed to admit that Max was a really nice guy. Max had been on his mind nonstop the last few days, something Bradley would not admit to anyone.

"Well..cool! I'm glad there's no issues. It's better that way....how is everything with your sister?"

The question stopped Bradley and his mood had shifted. He completely forgot about his sister Carley which made him feel even worse about this situation.

Bradley had been in the library studying with Eleanor when he got the call from his mom. He didn't know what to do, Carley was just playing basketball in the street when a car was definitely not going the speed limit for a neighborhood. The car turned around the neighborhood with dangerous speed to their street, Bradley's house had happened to be the first on the corner.

If he could, Bradley would march down there the instant he heard and find the guy driving so recklessly. If it weren't for Eleanor he just might have, not considering everything he would have left behind here. It was a vital time and though every part of him wanted to be with his sister, he had to get through mid terms first.

"Uhh...Bradley?..I'll take it it's still weighing on you pretty bad then hm?"

Bradley looked up to Eleanor's concerned face and he felt lucky to have such a caring and empathetic friend so close now.

"It is. I can't wait for these damn midterms to be over, I swear the first thing I'll do when I get out of biology is see her. It really is killing me El."

Replied Bradley as his head fell to his reached out arm on the table.

"It's a good thing you finish em all up tomorrow then"

Eleanor looked at her phone that was lit up and vibrating on the table beside her coffee

"Gaah Ian's calling me, he must be out of his mid terms finally... hey I hope all goes well tomorrow, I'll see ya later"

She waved goodbye as she picked up the call and headed for the door.

Ian, her boyfriend, was really cool actually and didn't find Bradley and Eleanor's friendship weird. Ian was the perfect guy, the kind you'd want your daughter to date, he had no flaws and treated Eleanor so sweetly. Bradley sometimes felt jealous of their relationship and bond, he wondered when he could find something like that.

While pondering with his thoughts, the coffee shop door opened and an all too familiar laugh had caught Bradley attention. It was Tank.

Bradley's heart dropped and he felt the urge to run out the door. As he was plotting an escape before tank could see him he thought to himself "no, I can't run and hide". Bradley would have to face Tank whether he liked it or not so it would just be best to stay put and act as if he didn't even realize his presence.

Awhile ago, Bradley had written out an apology to the gama crew. As embarrassing and shameful as it was, it was a desperate attempt to put behind his past and be able to move on.

However, when Bradley arrived at the gama estate he wasn't so warmly welcomed. Tank laughed at his presence and the gang cornered him. Bradley, convinced he deserved whatever had came to him, was beaten and bruised in his eye. A terrible night and when it was all over Bradley was left furious. He left when they had their fun and as he did he screamed "curse you! Curse you all for this!" And made his way back to his dorm.

Bradley hadn't seen Tank since then, though he was sure nothing had really changed from then and now. Tank was in and out of the shop and though Bradley had made fierce eye contact with him, the gamas decided not to approach Bradley. Leaving him with unresolved confusion.

Max:

The sound of the laptop closing had just about knocked max out of his day dreaming disguised as studying.

The conversation with Bradley last night had gone so well, for some reason Max couldn't get Bradley out of his head. The tone Bradley had and the raw expression of emotions in the dim kitchen light felt like a moment.

A moment? Like what kind of moment? It felt so intimate and personal...like a confession...

"Maybe I hate that I don't even more"

Those words had been replaying in max's brain all morning, while Bradley had been out of the house just as normal.

What did Bradley mean? Why does this affect Max so much? Could it be something extreme?

Max likes Bradley, he wanted to become friends or at least on good terms. However did he ever consider wanting..a bit....more with max?...

More?! More like romance? Bradley and Max?? No couldn't be, it could never be, who would think that?

Though now that Max WAS thinking that, it would connect so many dots for hi d feelings, jealous over Eleanor and angry that he's been gone. Not to mention how worked up this simple conversation got him.

Well, a crush...wouldn't be the end of the world but it couldn't ever be anything more..yes, Max had a crush. Max had a crush on Bradley upper crust the 3rd.
