"Jackson..., darling." my mother breathed with relief as soon as I stepped into the sitting room. She bolted up from were she was sitting and rushed across the room, launching herself into my arms.

"Mom!" chuckling at her un-reserved reaction to seeing me. I could feel her trembling and shaking as she sniffled. "I'm okay." reassuring her.

 I tightened my grip as she sobbed and heaved trying to stop herself from unleashing the flood gates of her overwrought emotions. Pulling back she gently placed her hands on my shoulders, scanning over me with the attentive eyes that only a concerned mother could have as tears continued to stream down her cheeks. 

"Oh my boy." she whimpered bringing a hand up to cup my cheek, before pulling me back to her for another vice-like hug. Leaning back with a stunned expression she sniffed me, taking in my scent as a surprised smiled slowly spread across her tear stained face.

"You Mated." she whispered with satisfaction, relief washed over her features as she smiled up at me through her tears.

"Let's wait and announce that when my Luna gets here." answering her question, returning her infectious grin with my own.

"Thank the Goddess." beaming pure happiness as she wiped the tears from her cheeks.

"Congratulations my boy." Dad smiled, clasping my shoulder as if he was actually really happy that Elena and I had finalized our mate bond.

"Really?.... You really mean that?" questioning why he was suddenly accepting of Elena being my mate, especially after all his comments about her being a handful and a problem. 

 Which I hated to admit were not lies at all.

"There is plenty of other things to discuss right now... Let's just say she and I had a heart to heart... and I can see that the Goddess gave you the perfect mate to be your match..., to be our new Luna." he states wholeheartedly, clasping his hand on my shoulder once again as I stared at him in disbelief.

What kind of discussion could they have that would change his whole thought and opinion of her in one single conversation?

"I'm glad to hear that... And your right, the Goddess has indeed blessed me with the perfect match." beaming with pride and possessiveness.

Elena was finally officially mine, all mine in every way possible. My heart swelled with love and protectiveness for her. Valk started to anxiously pace back and forth, hating to be away from our mate so soon after finalizing the bond.

Still smiling like a fool, I turned my attention to the room seeing that Marcel, Rene along with Russel my father's Beta and Bart his Third were all sitting or standing around the sitting room, patiently waiting for us to get this meeting started.

Trying to wipe the joyful grin from my face, which was difficult with how perfectly content and happy I felt at this moment. Gathering my composure, I pulled on my Alpha persona, ready to deal with the fucking Rogues and their so called true Blood Alpha, Alpha K.

He will bleed for our vengeance, begging and pleading for mercy before we allow him his slow agonizing death Valk growled with determination baring his fangs, ready for the next round. 'Patients... all in due time.' promising him our revenge.

"Let's take this to the office... Less ears to hear." Dad stated fanning his hand out toward the office doors.

Nodding in agreement, I started ahead of the group and headed for my father's office. Striding across the room taking the seat at his desk, showing who was in charge of this meeting and my dominance as Alpha. I waited for the rest of the group to follow suit and seat themselves.
